About this item

  • Less fatigue - Wrap your hand around the E-1 Ultra neck and you’ll immediately feel how comfortable it is. Our new EZ-Profile neck is designed so your hand can easily form chords without feeling fatigued.
  • Effortless Fretting - Epiphone JumboPRO frets make fretting notes and chords seem effortless. JumboPRO frets are taller and wider than smaller frets. So, when you push down a string, it’s easier to make string contact with the fret with less hand fatigue and finger friction.
  • Make friction fiction - String and fingerboard friction not only slows your playing but also can hurt. Our PRO-Ease string and fingerboard coating provides sleek, smooth action with reduced string noise.
  • No pain, no gain? - Nonsense—Epiphone believes in “no pain.” Lighter gauge strings are easier to play so every PRO-1 is set-up and equipped with Epiphone Ultra-Light strings.
  • Easy action - With Epiphone’s Dual-Action truss rod, you can adjust the neck in both directions, which not only stabilizes the neck but also makes set-up easier and more precise.

The E-1 Classical 3/4 Size Acoustic Guitar has all the E-1 Collection's innovative features in a smaller, easy-to-hold 3/4 size. Made with a Select Cedar with Custom PRO-Prietary bracing, a Mahogany EZ-Profile “D” Shape neck, easy to press down JumboPRO frets, and ultra-light classical strings

Bought this as a cheap guitar to take camping. I play expensive guitars at home and this did take a little set up to make it easier to play, but the finish is respectable and the intonation is good. The neck is a little on the wide and thick side.

I bought this guitar for a young (12 year old girl) beginner. The neck is way too wide for her small fingers, even though this is a 3/4 size guitar. I have sold it to an older guitar student who has longer fingers. I wouldn't buy this for a child, but it is a really nice guitar.
