Works right out of the box. Could not give the full five stars due to the connectors not rugged enough for a good fit.

This is going to be a strange review. I bought 3 of these for my off-grid solar system in my skoolie conversion. They have good reviews and were much cheaper than the Victron equivalent. I wanted to save some money so went with these instead. But I returned them after a week. They're not suitable for LiFePO4. Let me explain. You need a charge controller that works with the charging characteristics of the battery you are using. These controllers are designed for lead acid batteries. Their programming works with the charging curve of that type of battery. LiFePo4 has a much different charging curve and the EPEVERS controller does not have the programming needed to work with this battery's chemistry. In my system the chargers would work for a while then stop. The battery would discharge to a point where the controllers should start charging but nothing would happen. I'd need to shut off the system and restart to get controllers to work again and that's not acceptable. I need a system that works without constantly having to mess with it. So Epevers is out and Victron is in. What a difference. Victron charges up to the set point and then goes into absorption mode and does this over and over. No fiddling. That's what I need.So what's happening? Epevers simply changes some voltage settings and tries to use the lead acid charge curve with Lithium but it's not that simple. The controller needs new programming to work correctly. And it has many settings that simply don't match with the LiFePO4 charge profile.12 different voltages to set and most have nothing to do with Lithium. The Victron has 2 setting (a few more if you go into expert mode) and the programming is designed for the chemistry. So it just works. I'm sure the EPEVERS controller is great for lead acid chemistry but it fails for LiFePaO4. And that is the bottom line. So EPEVERS, some advice. Do the work and change the programming. Add a special LiFePO4 option to your device and make the settings adjustable. Make it simple to use. Do that and you'll sell a lot of controllers for Lithium.

I bought one of these for a solar setup in my cab over camper. It was basically plug and play with a lead acid battery and I've had zero issues with it this fall. When I first hooked it up, I had the polarity wrong from the solar panels. The unit didn't give a useful error message or anything, just showed no solar power, but mainly it protected itself and I was able to root-cause the problem. It has a nice timer feature that lets you auto-run a fan or whatever on a schedule if you want to move air through your camper each day.

I used these two units in a small portable system I made for desert camping. I had this attached to a 50w panel and a 50amp hour SLA battery. I was running a homemade swamp cooler off of this system and needed a continuous draw of about 2-2.2 amps. Not only did this charge controller help provide this, the MT-50 was a legit sidekick to controller. It’s clear display always let me know the power being provided from the panels and the current state of the battery. When I upgrade to a >10amp system, I will be buying another EPEVER Charge controller from this vendor. It was shipped fast and came well packaged.

Excellent product and accessories. Best price around. I live off grid and charge 2 large battery banks 900 amp hour and 450 amp hour this 20 amp charger works great with a 100 watt panel to charge my 450 amp hour battery bank and I can add another 100 watt solar panel if I wanted. Highly recommended from someone who lives full time off grid

Had an issue with the first unit I ordered- tech support from EPEVER was surprisingly fast, informative, and knowledgeable! The problem was quickly resolved and the 3210AN has performed as promised since. The Windows software for interfacing with the controller worked like a charm for all intended purposes.Have been using this with a 150W solar panel on my camper for nearly 5 months, and couldn't be happier for the price value.NOTE: I have read that this device is NOT UL-Listed, so keep that in mind for your installations.

I wanted to help my sister after Hurricane Maria. It has been over 6 months that she has not had power. I put together a system that I could order from Amazon and send most of the components to Puerto Rico directly. I ordered the SolarEpic 40A MPPT Solar Charge Controller, four Uni-Solar PVL-136 PowerBond PVL 136 Watt Flexible Solar Panels, a POTEK 2000W Power Inverter Three AC Outlets 12V DC to 110V AC and the miscellaneous cables and fuses. I prewired the controller and the inverter and wrote a detailed set of instructions on how to connect everything else. Luckily, I found in PR the batteries at Batteries Plus, and I ended up using two 12 vdc 155 Amp-hours for the project. My sister and my nephew installed the system 03/03/2018 and it has been powering her fridge, a few LED lights, a fan and charging phones and computers since with no problems. These products are outstanding and provide very impressive performance.

Great charge controller, the information display is really useful, includes a kWh counter.I can't speak for the accuracy of the information provided, according to my cheap multimeter, the voltage and amperage measurements seems to be correct, and thus the kWh meter should be ok too.It does seems to correctly track the maximum power point. You can choose between flooded, sealed and gel batteries with the built-in UI, if you need to specify your own battery parameters, you will need an extra accessory, the MT-50 , I don't have it, so, I am using "sealed" for my AGM battery. The cable terminals seems to do a good job keeping the cables secured.I do not like that this is a + ground controller, but it doesn't matter for my current application.
