VERY IMPRESSED, WORKED BETTER THAN EXPECTED!

Wow- at the price I sort of expected a light weight tool that would do the specific job I needed before it fell apart, I was wrong this is a very solid and nice tool - I am astonished how it holds up to the same expectations as our regular Hilti at work. I can find nothing really to complain about, Plus it came with a very nice case and spare brushes? This is a true rotary hammer not an electric 'hammer' drill, these are completely different animals. Even played at drilling a 3/8 hole in a granite boulder, don't bother trying that with a hammer drill.

I got this thinking it would be significantly lighter than my other small jack hammer shape hammer drill, but that didn't work out so well. While it is pretty much as heavy as my other one, I find this style to be less fatiguing on my back unless I am having to lean down low to operate it like working in a narrow ditch to lay a 2" line.As far as performance, it worked just as well as my previous hammer drill and broke apart all this hard sand stone just fine.I like the controls on this and I will be able to use this to put in floor anchors on a project I will be working on soon.

This hammer drill is better than the first one I had purchased, I wish I had this from the start! The most impressive part of this is the variable speed. I am using this with a bushing tool for removing the top portion of an old basement slab that they either floated too long or over-watered.The handle is very comfortable, and the trigger is easy to control. My other model pinches my fingers, this one does not. I tried to see if it would, and it is made well so as not to. Performance-wise, the vibrations are so much less than others I've used, causing less fatigue. The handle is easy to adjust and includes the depth bar, which I haven't used, as I am using a laser level for my purposes. It is light enough to move around, and again, the variable speed is absolutely wonderful for bushing work. The case fits the tool very well and comes with a variety of drills and chisels. They fit easily into the end of the tool as expected, the head is spring loaded and easy to pull back to change out.The parts that I also like are the pieces on either side of the gear box and handle. This type of tool is subjected to a lot of setting on the ground or other areas that could easily damage it, but there is enough protection built in that I do not fear future damages.Highly recommended.

Worked fine for the first project used different bits than what came with the package but it worked fine for the first project breaking up some large rocks.2nd time using it a few weeks later the drill stays engaged after releasing the trigger. Was still able to get the project done just had to unplug when not needing the unit on.Not sure if there is a fix for this or if its just how its gonna work now,
