Our houses in North Texas are not usually designed for sub-freezing temperatures. Our latest round of Artic blasts has tested our home systems. These little devices worked and we were able to use our water pipes running through the garage wall with no problems. And the drips made a cool little free-form ice sculpture in the process.

Easy to use and fits neatly over the faucet and pipe with the closure sealing the bag up to the house. I feel confident that it will keep the pipes as safe as possible.

These faucet covers appear to be well-made and I believe that they are effective for temps. in the low 30's to upper 20's. However, I use other types of faucet freeze protection when the temperatures are in the mid 20's.

I bought two of these for my outdoor faucets. They fit really well. I was using towels which were not waterproof. These are waterproof. I came out in the morning and saw water on top of them. They are easy to use. They have a pull string for fit and another string to wrap around the faucet. So I know they will stay on even during a storm. They are a fairly good quality.

I researched different options for covers for my outdoor faucets. And then I happened to find these covers.First, these covers were very inexpensive. Sure, cheaper is not always better but the more I read from the description, the more I knew these covers would work.The covers are well insulated and fit great on my faucets. The covers have a pull-string as opposed to Velcro. For me, it worked great, as my faucets stick out from my house. But I can see faucets that are close to the house not being as simple to secure.Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Nice and bigger than normal as most tap covers don’t actually fit.I like these, they are being used for a Steam rilway yard to save the exposed taps from ruturing in the frosy as they did last year.Very. Well made from 3M material.
