Bought a rebuild kit for my outdoor faucet and unfortunately, one of the screws in my old rod broke so needed to buy this. This new rod was a tad different than the old 20+ year old one it was replacing but, it works just fine. Make sure you pull the old one out of your faucet and measure it before you order. There are several different lengths.

The manufacturer failed to drill and tap the end of the rod to attach the handle. The partial drill into the end was only 1/8 inch with no threads. The end needed to be a minimum of 1/2 inch deep with threads in order attach the handle with a screw. This part was totally useless! I paid almost double the price of buying it from the manufacturer on Amazon to get it faster and the part could not be used. Not good when you have a water leak happening! No quality control.

Fixed my 38 year old spigot in my back yard. Just make sure it comes in a bag with the Woodford UPC as there are fakes and double check the OAL. Woodford has great diagrams on their website.

My Woodford wall hydrant would not turn off so I took it apart and saw that the rod assembly was bad. I wasn't able to find replacement parts anywhere local so I turned to trusty Amazon. Part arrived quickly as usual.The rod is a perfect fit on my Woodford Model 17 wall hydrant. It came assembled so I didn't need to do anything except connect it to my existing unit. Installation was a breeze and in just a few minutes the hydrant was fully operational.

Replaced original 46 year old rods with upgraded design to increase prevention of freeze damage, Removed and reinstalled the original first to measure length to ensure i ordered the correct item. When the new one arrived it was a simple job to complete the installation. The rod came with a new washer already installed i lubricated the assembly with plumbers silicon grease to ensure smooth operation.
