Due to procrastinating I failed to winterize my trailer in time causing a pipe and part of my faucet to burst in my outdoor kitchen. I purchased this because I wanted to keep the factory look and add the functionality of quick connect to use a water hose off the faucet. This item happily achieved all the previous goals at a better value than expected.

The faucet set feels well-made and robust, likely due to the weight of the quick-connect coupler mounted to it.I like that the knobs are quarter-turn, which makes it much easier to tell when you've opened the tap all the way, halfway, etc. for temperature control.Obviously the typical use for this fixture is with a "spray a way" hose, and you can buy those hoses readilyonline. You can also get an adapter to 3/4" GHT thread, which is useful if you want to use a typical garden hose. However, there are no readily-available adapters to NPT threads. AND this quick-connect is NOT one of the two most common quick-connect systems in the US ("industrial" and "automotive"). As best I can tell, the quick connect is a Milton V-type, "Euro Industrial".So if you're DIYing something and don't want to add another adapter from GHT to NPT (or whatever you're using), you may have some trouble finding a quick-connect nipple fitting that has the threads you actually want.
