The item was delivered promptly from the company and well-packaged. I was reluctant to pay the extra money for the drum head, but found out that it was superior to other brands. The sound was crisp, clear and uniquely vibrant, the way a Turkish drum should sound.. I got the sandblasted 8.6 head and have found a great sound, what I was searching for. I see no drawbacks, except maybe the price, but many times you have to pay more for that which is better. This all is only my humble opinion...my Doumbek is happy!

EXACTLY the fit for the classic Egyptian darbuka size. Great sound, nicer than the fiberskyn heads i've had. Extremely quick delivery.
