The maximum sampling rate is about 1,000 times per second. The waveform display time is 0.05s/div -2.048S/div adjustable range. The coordinates -Y -axis data is a reference for the coordinates of non-linear indications.
Magnetic Field Waveform
When the magnetic field is neutral, the waveform coordinate value is between S and N. When the magnetic field is a southern polar magnetic field, the waveform shifts towards the Y -axis S coordinate direction. When North, towards the Y -axis n coordinate direction.

Maybe. We had a paranormal event in our home, and were so excited to whip this out and give it a try. There were cold spots and poltergeist activity (lucky us!), and the meter spiked in those areas. We were thrilled! Afterwards, though, it still spiked in other areas not connected to the event. It seemed to be randomly spiking. So, now we're not sure about it. We know that electronics and meters, etc have electromagnetic fields, but the device was spiking on air and random objects. These things should not have anything going on. Have you heard of a haunted washcloth? Me neither. So, like I said, we're not sure now. Also, as a sidenote, it seems cheaply made. Looks cheap, feels cheap. We'll keep using it, though, to see if there's a factor we haven't considered. Will update if there's a reason. Happy Hunting!

I got this as a semigag gift for my husband. We are avid ghost hunting show watchers and always wanted some of their toools so when I saw this I had to get it!! We walked around the house and it ‘alerted’ around the TVs and electronic devices. The big awesome moment came when we held it around the urns. Both of my in-laws, my mom, and dog are all in urns in two different places. Not all alerted but one did and we all jumped with excitement. It wasn’t bear a tv or anything so we fully believe it was them. I don’t know enough of the science aspect but I give this five stars!!

Compact, lightweight, and has an easy to read color display and user adjustable alarms.I compared it against a known good meter, from a known reputable manufacturer, and it appears to be accurate. I really like the value over time display - so you can visualize changes to field strength, as well as the fact that it measures the polarity of magnetic fields, in addition to strength, and the case is marked to show you exactly where the sensors are (a detail missing from many).

I got this just to see what it is capable of. It reads electric and magnetic fields and radiated power. I'm a ham radio operator, so I thought I might try it out to see how it reads radiated power from antennas, but this really isn't the tool for that. I knew that going in, but I wanted to see what it would do. It's cool enough though to use checking devices around the house.For true and accurate readings on specific frequencies, a whole different type of equipment is needed, a spectrum analyzer.At least you can beebop around and see what's putting of energy, and how high that energy is. Is this tool accurate? Again, to find out would require much more complicated equipment. That said, it's giving readings for energy it picks up. That alone is enough to tell you something about what's going on by comparing devices and areas of radiation.

I am neither a telecommunications worker nor a ghost hunter, but I think this thing is great.The packaging is very simple and contains everything you need. Be forewarned that unless you have bionic eyesight you will likely need to do what I did to read the instructions which is take photos with your phone and then zoom in; *very* small writing.That said, this is very easy to use. I glanced over the manual but don't think I saw anywhere that it explains "normal range" levels so I did have to look that up. I tested it in several areas in my home and office and seemed to give very quick and, I can only assume, accurate readings. It's great for peace of mind.It has three different measurements (electric field, magnetic field, radiated power) as well as a waveform graph which is super cool. Also, given that it is compact in size and very light in weight, you can take this with you anywhere you want.I will be going to Prague in a few weeks and will probably even bring this with me. Never too late to start ghost hunting...

Very informative tool.Displays: Electrical Field, Radiated Power, and Magnetic Field with alarms when any exceeds set limits.Using this around the house was informative (and a little shocking).Holding it close to computer monitors and televisions (all lcd) resulted in high electrical Field alarm. Meaning you probably shouldn't sit too close!Also was able to detect wifi access points. Those at table top level had high readings while those mounted on ceiling were much safer due to the distance.Haven't found any anomalies (ghost spirits) but I'm keeping this handy.Perfect gift for a geek.
