Nice straight-forward, intuitively designed Meter with accurate readings. This is an easy to use meter that provides rapidly updating measurements of radio frequency fields, electric fields and magnetic fields. And it does so with precision. There's no additional irrelevant, unnecessary, bloated and useless features, which makes for a nice, uncluttered design. It does however provide High, low and average readings and a configurable alert alarm. It's like a measuring tape, only for measuring levels of various electrical frequency types. If you are just seeking a straight forward measurement value, this meter provides that.

This works very well. It's got a very nice backlit display that is easy to read and understand. The beeper is loud and lets you know when you have a spike. the battery lasts a very long time and it charges in a few hours. 10/10

I wasn't really sure I needed something like this and not exactly sure why I would need it. What I can say as an electronics engineer is that it does work. I have found that it can be useful at finding mistakes with electronics that I would normally be unaware of until the product is in the final test stage. It reports EMF where I would expect to find it and mostly not where there should be none. The one odd case was my LED desk lamps. That I would have thought would be clean.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how nicely made this unit is. Especially the screen, it's very high resolution, making it sharp and easy to read. The case is also solid, and doesn't flex if you twist it from either end. Button presses are clicky and definite, although they require a little more effort than expected.Measurement-wise, it gives results that seem reasonable. I unfortunately do not have a way to verify accuracy, but it does agree with another (cheaper) EMF/RF reader in my possession. This unit will read both alternating and static magnetic fields, and thus will detect permanent magnets and both AC and DC electromagnets. I appreciate this, as my old one would only detect alternating fields from AC electromagnets. You can chart electric field and magnetic strength over time, although it's the type of chart that overwrites from left to right, instead of rolling (like a seismograph). For some odd reason, you can't do this with RF power, which is an odd and disappointing exclusion. You can change the speed at which the chart is sampled/drawn using the arrow keys.Alarm thresholds are adjustable; violations are indicated with sound and a flashing red LED. You can disable the sound in the "Sleep" menu. That's a slightly odd place to put it, but I'm glad the setting is there at all.The menu also allows you to change units (uW/cm^2 or mW/m^2 for RF, or between Teslas and Gauss for magnetic fields), sleep timers, and language. It also provides some exposure limit standards and unit conversion charts.Battery life is incredible. Even with the screen always on, I was able to get over 20 hours of life on a charge. USB-C charging is implemented correctly on this unit, with the appropriate 5.1k pulldown resistors. A charge from completely empty does take a long time at just over two hours, but the battery capacity actually exceeds the 800mAh rating. This is a great little detector. It works well, is solidly built, and has a very nice screen. The only complaint I have is not providing a chart readout for RF radiation. Aside from that, I have zero issues.
