Haven’t had to use it in an emergency, but doing a practice run, works great

Emergency Fire Escape Ladder,Flame Resistant Safety Rope Ladder with Hooks, by ATswzyzz is just what we needed to stash in the second floor linen closet. Like fire extinguishers, you don't want to need one of these and not have it. The ladder itself comes in a pretty thin stowage bag, but as long as it keeps it all contained, that's all that matters. The ladder seems well made, wide nylon webbing make up the sides, while equally wide "sleeves" that contain the wooden tread are stitched onto the sides at "comfortable" distance from one another. The stitching is similar to the way seat belts are stitched, square pattern with X's in them. It comes with 2 giant carabiners attached to the top, which will attach to the supplied wall anchor. These wall anchors are equally huge, and beefy. I'd say they were designed to be installed outside your window, into brick or stone (by the looks of them) and you attach the ladder to them outside the house. Of course this attachment style forces you to use that window only, as it's your attachment point. I'd prefer to have some hooks that go over the window sill.Mine did NOT include the pictured gloves, which I'm not sure their intended purpose with this product anyway.

This is a great rope ladder. IT's extremely strong and durable, easy to clip onto a pole or similar item.IF you don't have something to clip this onto, it might be worth installing some d-rings (tie downs) onto wooden studs in your walls, so you can clip this ladder onto those rings. The only improvement I'd suggest, is that if the sides are going to be high-visibility, it also makes sense to have the rungs high-vis as well.

After someone telling me a story about why they thought everyone should have one of these, I was glad I got one. It does not take up that much space and I keep it out on my patio. I live on the 4th floor and get the longest one. Having it makes me feel better about living on a higher floor.

I have a large two-story home and ordered the Atswzyzz emergency fire escape ladder just to have that peace of mind in the event of an emergency. It comes nicely packaged in a carry case and although I haven't actually utilized it, I have inspected for quality and accessibility as I don't want any surprises in the event of an actual emergency (fire, home invasion escape, etc). It comes with a pair of gloves which is beneficial if you have advanced training for fast rope type skills and don't burn your hands (grip the outside of the ladder and quickly slide down). The product description is very detailed and the video is recommended to review. I ordered the 32 ft escape ladder as my home is on the higher end with vaulted ceilings. Everything matches the product description and the quality of the stitching and material is durable in the unfortunate event you may have to actually use the escape ladder - but always better to be safe than sorry not having one.

We have a second floor bedroom that is pretty high up, definitely too high to safely jump from, so this provides a bit of piece-of-mind to throw under the bed by the window. The ladder and accessories seem high quality and pack up to a pretty small package.Just make sure you actually have a way to connect it. It's really designed to be connected to a balcony railing. We would need to just throw it out a bedroom window, so I'd connect it to our bed frame -- not ideal but it would work in an emergency (I think).

This ATswzyzz (weird name) Emergency Fire Escape Ladder is great for certain escape locations. It is good for railings and also for specific anchor mounted locations. For my requirement, I have a 3rd story need so my ladder is 26' long so that it can drop down far enough. I also have a railing that I can use the sturdy connector clips. This is not a useful ladder if you only have a window as there are not big hooks to hang the ladder on the window sill from. I think this should have been included to make this a 5 star product.Nevertheless, this is great for me, and it is well constructed and I expect it to do well in an emergency situation. It rolls up and is a tight squeeze into the supplied bag.The kit also comes with a pair of work gloves. Not sure why as I will never use them with the ladder, however I have used them doing some heavy gardening and they were great for that.If you have a railing you can loop the top through, then this is an excellent solution for you.

So the latter itself seems very durable and like it would do a great job in case of a fire, but the installation is almost impossible without modifying something. The instructions are laughable and not helpful in the slightest. It only discusses installing on some sort of railing. We do not have a railing anywhere near a window that this could be deployed on. So my husband is going to forge and weld a set of hooks so that this can be easily attached to a window frame in case of emergency. If it would have came with different attachment and instructions, I would give it a 5 star. Obviously, there is no real way to test it without doing a fire drill and scaling down my house, so I will assume it will work well due to it's durability.
