I unfortunately had to use this today and I am SO THANKFUL I had this!! I had a small fire get away from me outside and the hose was frozen.. I raced in the house and grabbed the fire blanket. I’d put it on top of the fire and pat it with my hand to smother it out … this was a life saver.

If you ever have had a fire start in your kitchen like I have, you will quickly understand how important it is to have these near at hand in your kitchen so that you can react fast and smother a fire if it ever happens to you. Like me you may say that will never happen to you, but you just never know when a fire starts from a grease spill and can cause a lot of damage very fast. Buy these as must have for your own protection.

This is perfect to hang in the kitchen. I gave one as a gift. Works great! Great value! Better than trying to figure out how to use a fire extinguisher in an emergency.It is great for an elderly person that cannot lift a fire extinguisher.

I checked with my fire department and they recommended this. I believe that this can be a very valuable addition in your home and can save a lot of grief when there is an unexpected kitchen fire. Great value for the price.
