I have not opened these up to expand them yet because that would defeat the whole purpose of keeping them in their factory package for storage in a vehicle. These are very important to have on hand and take up very little space. They could possibly save your life in a cold weather situation! Like I said in my headline, these are a little smaller than others I have seen but they claim to have the same windproof and waterproof characteristics that others have. Should be a required item when traveling if you ask me.

Came quickly and seemed compact. Not had to use it but was reasonably priced.

This is a great pack of 4 individually packed emergency thermal blankets. They're perfect to throw in the car or backpack for those "just in case" times when an emergency happens, and you need a quick thermal blanket. Being the mylar "space" type, it's thin material designed to help hold in heat - in an emergency. These are not designed to be a "regular blanket". Once used, it can be carefully wiped down, folded back up into a small square and re-used. But the key is this is really an emergency item that you pack away and have when you need it. 5 stars because of the value of getting 4 individually packed emergency mylar blankets and being a good size to tuck away.

I ordered these because of the snow we had in south Texas. I am going to put these in my vehicle in case of emergencies. I spent some time out in the cold and wouldn't want to be stranded with a couple of these to keep my family warm. For build quality, the blankets are thin and one-use oriented I think a puncture or tear would ruin them because they reflect back heat from your body. However, you could patch them with Duct Tape for a time to keep them useful. A great just-in-case product.

These emergency blankets are a must-have for any survival or camping kit! The Mylar material retains body heat well, making them great for staying warm in emergencies or outdoor adventures. They’re lightweight, compact, and easy to pack, yet large enough (54" x 84") to provide good coverage. The 4-pack is a great value for keeping extras in the car, first aid kit, or hiking gear.

These emergency blankets are lightweight, compact, and super handy to have on hand for camping, hiking, or just in case of an emergency. They fold up small enough to fit in a backpack, glove compartment, or first aid kit, but when opened up, they’re big enough to provide solid coverage. The Mylar material does a great job of reflecting body heat, which makes them great for staying warm in survival situations. They’re also windproof and waterproof, so they add an extra layer of protection in bad weather. While they’re not super thick or reusable long-term, they’re exactly what you need for emergency situations. If you’re putting together a survival kit or just want to be prepared for unexpected situations, these are a great addition. Affordable, reliable, and easy to store definitely worth having on hand!

Hard to believe something so thin and lightweight could be effective as a blanket, but here we are! This is literally a large sheet of mylar (as in mylar balloons). It is super reflective and would be highly visible on a sunny day. It's not prone to tearing, but folding it back into its original size is a bit of a challenge. Even so - this blanket is great to have on hand for emergencies, whether in the glove box, the bug out bag, or the backpack. It fits in the palm of my hand and weighs next to nothing. For $1.50 each, these blankets are well worth the cost. At the very least - you get piece of mind. But in some situations, they could actually be life saving.

I haven't had to use these blankets, thankfully, but for the inexpensive price, they are a perfect addition to any emergency kit, backpack or "go" bag. They are packaged so compactly, they barely take up any room at all. They can easily be tucked in anywhere without taking up hardly any space (pants/jacket pocket, glove compartment, purse/fanny pack/wallet, suitcase, boat, ATV, etc.). You never know when something might happen and it never hurts to be prepared.I really like that they come in a pack of 4. You could duct tape a few of them together for an emergency sleeping bag, a rain poncho or mini shelter if need be.I hope I never have to use them but these emergency blankets are a cheap way to have some peace of mind knowing that you are prepared. for some situations. And for the price, I can easily stock up and tuck them into all of our vehicles and suitcases.
