A simple design, but it looks good. I got the smaller ones, which say they’re designed for hoops from 4 to 6.8 (or 6.7 depending on where you look in the info) inches, but they hold slightly larger hoops, too, as long as you don’t mind the screw assembly being slightly visible. (I don’t, as the look of these is still nicer than a lot of other ways of displaying embroidery.) The wood is a pretty neutral color with a satin finish, though one has subtle bubbles in the finish on one side. Not a big deal since one side has to go to the back of the embroidery anyway.

Finally, a nice way to display my embroidery hoops, other than hanging them on the wall or framing them! For reference, my hoops in the pictures are plastic, wood colored. The small one is 6in, the bigger one is 8in. I think most of my hoops are 8-9in, so this is perfect! Both of them are nestled in nicely in the display stand, although the bigger one seems to sit more flush. If you look closely, you can tell there is a bit more room left for a slightly bigger hoop. So I'm sure the sellers' description of 7-10in is correct, although even my smaller 6in also sits nicely in the display stand. The groove in the display stand makes it so that you can hide the ugly screws that close/tighten the hoop. However, you have to keep in mind that this groove is at the bottom. Usually, people will make a piece of embroidery art work with the screws at the top of the work, because most people will hang these. So if you don't want your embroidery work to be upside down, you'll need to take it out of the hoop and move it, which can be a bit of a hassle. Or when starting a new project, keep it in mind, so you have the screws right away at the bottom. Although I think that might be a bit annoying when actually making the embroidery piece.I love the natural wooden color of the display stand, which works out great with the color of my hoops. It would be fun if they would also make these in different colors or other type of wood grains. Will buy again!

I'm working on a cross-stitch holiday gift and was looking for something other than a frame or just a hoop. These are wonderful! They are well-made, smooth, and - as you can see from the photo - the small one could (if it had to) hold a larger than specified hoop. (My project is 6" but the hoop I had on hand was a bit larger - sorry.) I need to look and see if they have these in a darker tone. I want to keep a few on hand for those "just in case" moments.

I do hand embroidery and like to display my hoops around my home. I don’t always want to hang them, I’d rather put them on a shelf, but they don’t stand up properly. This display stand is perfect for displaying my hoops, I don’t have to lean them up against anything. I can just set my hoop in this stand and it stands straight. The wood of the stand looks nice and closely matches the raw wood of my hoops. I would buy more of these if I needed to display more hoops.

These seem to be well-made, they look nice, and they hold the hoops well. I like that there's a deeper slot in the center to hide the hoop fastener, but I also appreciate that the hoop will stay up pretty securely even if you put it in with the fastener on top. The color matches my hoops well. I would get these again.

Oooh, I'm so pleased with these! I am an avid crafter, but only recently picked up embroidery too. I like the look of the whole hoop on display as a wall hanging, but I also love that these stands are another option, and they hide the hoop hardware in such a simple way to give your display a more finished and elegant look, if that's what you're going for. They would be great to include with a gift; either with a finished piece or with an embroidery kit gift. The stands themselves are of nice quality with a very smooth finish, no splinters or rough spots. My 8" hoop fits perfectly in it, and they also fit a 5" and a 10" hoop (5" & 10" pictured empty hoops). I think the price of $13.99 is great for three very nice quality hoop stands. Highly recommend!
