If I could rate it a zero i would. Within 6 months of installing it the screw in the hinge broke!!! You usually change the toilet seat every few years. This thing didn't make it to a year. Amazon would not replace it because it was over a certain amount of time. This was unfair to me as a consumer! I am one person living in this household and I work so it's not like I'm using it all the time. Obviously this is a shoddy product, To anybody thinking about buying this, DON'T !

I can’t believe I’m raving about a toilet seat, but this product is pretty stunning. Worth every penny. It’s easy to install and it fits my toilet well. It also comes with high quality metal bolts to secure the seat in place (versus the plastic ones that tend to get corroded after a while) , and it stays in place- no sliding. It is comfortable, and very easy to clean. The coloring stays put and does not flake off. This is located in the main bathroom everyone uses, so I can honestly say it has taken a good amount of abuse and it still looks shiny and brand new.I like it so much that I plan to purchase another in a different color.My only advice is to make sure you know the size and shape of your toilet prior to purchasing. This particular design is for the elongated style toilet.Highly recommend if you want to make your toilet look rockstar fabulous!

I bought this because I bought a cheap one couple months ago and it’s been slipping ever since. I was finally tired of having to re-secure the plastic hinges and decided to buy one with metal fixtures. It came with clear instructions and I was able to do it myself without any help. It’s nice to finally sit without the seat shifting anymore. If anything changes, I will update this but for now it’s sitting pretty.The only two cons were these. The color. If you’re buying blue, be aware, it is such a dark blue that it’s almost black. I had to take my flashlight to be sure it was actually blue so if that’s important to you, be aware It is easily mistaken as black.The other issue, which was probably on me is that I had trouble getting the bolt into the plastic fitting. The directions say you have to lift it 30° so it’s even so that’s probably why - but be aware the bolt has to feed in perfectly. If you go on any angle it won’t work - So if you have trouble pull it out, take a breath and do it so it goes in perfectly even on the threads. Maybe this is common sense for most people, but I’m not particularly handy so it took me a minute.

Removing our old seat was a nightmare. Comparing the build and equipment to this model, I do not expect those problems. Seat is a little wider than expected, but honestly it's healthier. Easy to install, easy to clean, looks great. Very happy.

I never thought I would say I love a toilet seat, but I loved this one so much, I got a second. I got the blue/teal one. The color is rich, and the hardware on it is a shiny silver metal. It's a sexy toilet seat. :)

Honestly, this was so worth the cost. It looks amazing in person. I have it installed over a Tushy bidet which effects its sturdiness and it comes loose over time.

I've only had this toilet seat installed for 2 weeks so far so I can't account for durability over time, but it seems to be built fairly well. It's nice and heavy, super easy to install, and looks good. The metal hinges are nice but do squeak a bit when opening and closing the lid.I love the overall quality of the paint job, it's a gorgeous seat and I really enjoy the sparkly color, but I got the gold to match my gold/white bathroom color scheme and the color isn't actually a true Gold. It's much darker with more orange tones in it giving it almost a coppery look. Ignore the main pictures and scroll down to the one that shows the brunt force tests with a tire on the seat. It's more of that color, maybe even slightly darker than shown there.I thought it was my error with not paying attention to the color in the images so I installed it anyway, but I now see that I was right in thinking it would be more like the color in the main pictures, which would have worked much better for what I wanted.Not sure I want to try to return for a different color as it's now used and I don't have the packaging any longer. Wish I could at least get a discount but I doubt that's likely.So just be warned about the color difference if you are wanting the Gold version and look at it closely if buying to make sure it will work for your needs BEFORE installing it. I got too excited to replace a nasty used seat in my new apartment and didn't do that myself.Adding pictures to show toilet seat with light hitting parts of it to show the true darker color at front and back of the seat, and the lightest it will look on the left side in direct light from the bathroom lightbulbs. Other picture to show color next to the standard "gold" metal tone with furniture.

Looks better in person, the colour is great! The opening of the seat is a little smaller than a standard toilet seat which could be uncomfortable for some but it looks great and is very sturdy
