Just used this glue to repair a splintered workbench drawer. The stuff set so quickly, I didn't need a clamp. I merely held the pieces together with a single hand for about 30-35 seconds, and the repair was set. I used a C-clamp on the repair but I really didn't need it. Elmer's has been producing quality products longer than I've been alive, I used many of them and still do,. and I've never had a problem. This wood clue is no different.

I’ve been using Elmer’s products for ever and they have never failed me. The wood glue is fantastic and it stronger than the wood itself. The great thing is you can paint or stain it when it’s dry. Highly recommended! Give it the proper time to cure and clamp it if you can and it will never come apart.

The product is high quality. It looks transparent after used in woods. Actually i bought it to attached two differnt woods in furnitureand it looks perfect now.

This is a basic glue and it works quite well on the appropriate surfaces... that is if you can get the dang thing open!!! It glues itself shut every time and I now store it next to a set of plyers so that I am able to open it when needed. I have other glue made by Elmers with a different top that is easy to open. I suggest that Elmers should re-think the engineering of the lid on this product.
