DIRECTIONS: Apply Swel-Lock to the wooden portion of the part to be tightened. Then press lightly together. Allow 1-2 hours before subjecting to use. Very loose joints may require gluing. Swel-Lock is not a glue or adhesive. It will actually swell the wood.

I have had a metal-tipped wooden broom handle for nearly 30 years now and I have had to put the tip into a cup of water to get the wood to swell up as the tip was getting ready to fall off! It has worked but now I have made it a permanent repair and I should have just kicked myself in the backside 25 years ago! Great product!

Swel-Loc is easy to use. It was successful for tightening loose joints on an antique oak captains chair. Performed as I hoped it would. Considerable time saver vs disassembly and regluing.

Was easy to apply, needed to work it into the slot where the chair legs were inserted when built.

A tad runny and a user needs to be careful. But it does quiet old wooden joints. Used it successfully on an age-old rocker.

Works great on wooden cloths rack. Spindles fall out prior. Now tight!
