I compared this to dash. No comparison. The only good thing is the timer which is why I got it but sadly this unit is much lower quality. I will be getting the double stack dash and an outlet timer.

Follow the easy directions. It works great. Perfect eggs every time. As far as steaming veggies for one yes. The omelet making part is a bit small to me. Even for one. And thats a wrap on that one.

This is a fantastic, simple egg cooker. Since we're a larger family, we only use it for hard boiled eggs which works out perfectly. The steamer and rice cooker functions would be better left to larger dedicated devices. Unless you only require small servings in which case this is fine. Aesthetically, it's nothing to brag about but if you're shopping at this price point, it's to be expected. This is purely a functional kitchen gadget. As with all useful kitchen appliances, this allows convenient preparation of a food item, ultimately saving you money in the long run. Anything that makes your job easier in the kitchen, is worth having on hand. Even if you had to dedicate extra cabinets to appliances, preparing quality ingredients and meals at home, using dedicated devices, promotes satisfaction with your dining experiences and deters you from dining out. For price and functionality, without demerits for being budget looking, this is as advertised.

Used to cook hard boiled eggs to make deviled eggs. Makes the eggs easier to peel off the egg shell. Takes less water to cook the eggs.

I love my egg cooker. So easy to use and cleaning up is so simple. I use distilled water to cook my eggs and I pour vinegar on cooker to clean the stains that the water might cause in cooking process. I cook eggs at least once or twice a week. You set your time on cooker and it alarms you when done. So simple to use and by setting how long you cook eggs is how your eggs will be cooked, like soft boiled or hard boiled. It’s worth the money and you can cook as many eggs as you want at a time up to 14 eggs. Easy to peel also.

I bought this and have used it several times now for boiled eggs. They have been consecutively easy to peel and it’s nice that it’s small for storage.
