I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We love hard boiled eggs, and he asked for an egg timer that you put into the pan when you make eggs. It's been almost a month, and he used it for the first time. Now it's proudly displayed on the counter where it should be. It makes PERFECT eggs. Their slightly gooier in the inside but it doesn't ooze. Even when you put them in the fridge it keeps its softness and OH SO NUMMY! My husband laughed because he said were suddenly going to go through more eggs. I didn't take him seriously until I ate one hot and OH YEAH! I didn't mind them cold either. I was worried that it would lose its gooiness and harden just like a hardboiled egg does and again I was shocked at the taste. Get this if you love hard boiled eggs. It does dumplings too which is why I got it. It ONLY TAKES 5 MINUTES. He makes really good Deviled eggs, and this thing would make it a snap if you had a large gathering to host. It will be on our list if it breaks.

Making hard boiled eggs should be ez, but i would always overcook or undercook them, this item takes all the guess work out it. No going to lie, ive bought 4 or 5, not all from Amazon, different brands, but one thing thats constant, they have a tendency to break after 50 uses -the heating element goes. when the water added evaporates its very bad for warming plate. Averages out to appx 500 cooked eggs, i still say its worth it, perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. Have bought again & would recommend. PS, i use a dab of vinegar on paper towel (1 to 2 wipes its clean) to clean hot plate as it gets gross even after cooking 1 batch. -maybe im causing the hot plate to break by doing that, but cleaning without vinegar trick is Really scrubbing. Im lazy.

It's cute. 14 eggs I assumed it would do more than two poached eggs at a time. This would have been really good to know the description was incredibly misleading.

A great little machine that doesn't take up too much space. Easy to use. I always have hard boiled eggs on hand for snacking, now. The kids love it too.

After following directions exactly I noticed that my egg cooker did not beep or turn off automatically once the water had all boiled off. 35 minutes later nd the unit was still on. This was with 35mL of water for 14 eggs as per instructions. Used cold aggs and cold water. So the thermocouple safety seems to not have kicked in. When trying to see if it will work the next day the power light would come on and the unit wouldn't heat up at all. I followed the directions regarding not unplugging to prevent thermocouple failure, but it failed after the first time switching it on as the thermocouple safety feature did not kick in once the water was all gone. Returning it next day after receiving and will look for other brand.

Eggs peel much better than simply boiling them. Once you determine the correct water and time, the yolks are yellow (not green/gray). So far, if I load it with the maximum (14 eggs), I find at least one or two eggs will "explode". If I keep it at six for one level or 12 for two levels, this seems to mitigate the exploding eggs. Also, whether I pin prick the eggs before cooking or not, it doesn't seem to make any difference. This is a simple way to hard boil eggs that is faster than the stove top or instapot. Easy clean up.

I live in a retirment home, and this suits my purpases wonderfully, I can do everything I want withthis wonderful product, everything from hard boiled to poached...I am so glad I bought this...and It was a wonderful price to...please get one, You will be happy You did..

I just used the BELLA Rapid Electric Egg Cooker and Poacher with Auto Shut Off for the first time. Here is my experience.... I took a dozen cold eggs out of the fridge and put them in the holders...... I DID NOT pierce holes in them( I was too lazy to clean off the eggs first as directions said to) Directions said it made no difference if you pierce holes in them or not, so I just did not... I filled the water level to what they said for a dozen eggs hard boiled... and I put a little more more water in than they recommended to make sure they were hard boiled.... took about 25 minutes and the cooker turned off on it's own when the water was gone as the directions said it would....I placed the cooked eggs into a cold ice bath in a bowl..( ice cubes and water) let them cool for about a half hour... then pulled them out of the water..... not ONE of the eggs cracked during cooking! They peel PERFECTLY... they were PERFECTLY COOKED.... I am very pleased with this so far... see how it continues to do down the road. It does have a two year warrantee. I would give this a 10 out of 10... no mess... no fuss... easy.. I use to hate boiling eggs in a big pan on the stove... I highly recommend you all try this for yourself!

I purchased the yellow model! We love hard boiled eggs, but I don't love the hassle! I tell you, this is the best little gadget. Doesn't take up much room and makes hard boiled eggs perfectly, and better yet EFFICIENTLY!!For my first go, I made 6 eggs. I didn't want to make more, just in case it was a disaster. I followed the enclosed directions. For hard boiled eggs, I did 2 cycles, meaning I filled the cup up to the top line with COLD filtered water and poured it into the machine with my six eggs. I used the puncture tool (included and attached to the bottom of the measuring cup) and punctured 3 out of the 6 eggs. The directions stated that puncturing the eggs wasn't required, so I wanted to see if it made a difference (it didn't make a difference). I then covered the eggs with the lid and turned the machine on. When the beeper indicated it was finished (meaning all water had evaporated from the machine), I opened it up and poured another cup filled to the top line, into the machine, and ran it through a 2nd time, totaling 20 mins.It seems that each cycle, when water is filled to the top line of the included measuring cup, lasts about 10 mins. YOU MUST USE COLD WATER AND EGGS STRAIGHT FROM THE REFRIGERATOR.My eggs came put perfectly!! No discoloration and SUPER easy to peel! I have never peeled an egg so easily! I don't know if it is because they are steamed, but man was it easy and effortless to peel them. No broken eggs, no mess.I hope this product lasts, because I love it!! Don't hesitate to buy it!!
