Easy to install.
- Cut an 52mm (2") hole in the panel and allow a clearance of 55mm (2 3/16”) behind the panel to fit the gauge.
- Put the gauge in the hole and screw down.
- For the GPS antenna, you should securely fasten it in the flat position, black side upwards, preferably outside (or inside front windscreen)
so that it has a clear view of the sky to pick up satellite signal. Connect the antenna cable to socket in the back of the gauge. And do not cut cable.
How to connect external button?
For the external button, one pin is connected to yellow wire of meter, the other to power negative/ground.

Why does LCD show Err?
- Turn on supply power after installation.
- Then the meter starts to search for signal and LCD will count automatically.
- If there is still no GPS signal after 3 minutes. the LCD displays "Err".
GPS Speedometer keeps counting?
- After installation in the first time, GPS speedometer needs to search for signal, that's the reason that LCD counts numbers all the time.
- After getting signal, LCD will come back to 0. It is normal.

It seemed to me that with modern technology, there’s no reason someone wouldn’t be able to make an inexpensive and reasonably accurate knot meter and COG compass. Unfortunately, this device is a typical example of Chinese junk. The display is too faint to see in daylight. The manual is missing critical information, such as how to wire the button (to ground or positive?). This thing is completely useless.
