Basic bike computer. Easy to program and install. I did have to replace the included ties because they wouldn’t pull tight enough, but I didn’t have to buy them as I have a gross for bike maintenance. Has all the necessary functions and a couple extra.

I wish I could buy a product like this that would last longer than 6 months to a year. It worked well for the first few months, then it started registering the speed intermittently which would throw off the biked miles. After a few more months, it stopped registering any speed at all. I changed all batteries, adjusted the sensors and recalibrated the computer multiple times. Sometimes it would work for a few days and then just stop working again.

Received the product but haven’t fitted it or used it yet, very reasonably priced and great reviews so shouldn’t be disappointed

as many people stated "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"the instructions are very confusing , first of all it does not tell you anywhere what the icons on the screen mean.I did the whole install process 3 times and did the metric conversion and it still did not work at all.I know a Lot of electronics are made in countries where the metric system is used, but would it be that hard to put an additional size chart in inches instead of MM .And honestly there are 4-5 actual wheel sizes out there. Would it be that hard to put those values on a separate chart.I Would not recommend this to anyone!PS one way to know if a product is any good is to see how they list the comments.. If they list all the 5 star good reviews first and all the 1 star reviews last then you know they don't want you reading the poor reviews. If you read the reviews for cateye products the reviews are listed just the way they come in.

Bought two of these to install on a kids bike and on an electric scooter. One of the sets came with broken sensor, both sets had nearly dead batteries, so I had to replace them in the working set immediately (and that's 12 volt battery, which is not cheap). Zip ties supplied to fix the sensor and the cradle on the bike were so brittle, that they didn't even withstand straightening them by hand. Out of 8 zip ties supplied in two sets only 3 were usable. Now the functionality: the computer catches the signal from the sensor only if placed within 1 foot range from it. This seriously limits your installation options. Due to this reason the set didn't work on the electric scooter, there the handlebar is ~3 feet away from the wheel. But since it was broken anyways, that's ok. Returning this garbage and will be purchasing something better and wired.

Arrived very quickly. Installed easily with non-destructive means so you can always change your mind without damaging your ride. Does have a limited range so getting the transmitter/receiver positions just right was challenging but not insurmountable. Mounted well - even after I screwed it up (upside down) and had to try several positions to get it in range. Still, it works great, I didn't bother with any fancy calculations for wheel size and when tested on a known distance it was well within any reasonable accuracy need. Easy to read (haven't quite got the backlight going yet but it would just suck battery anyway). The low cost of this unit makes it a perfect choice for anyone that just wants to give it a try in tracking time and distances spent with their bike with the added advantage of not being too worried about it in those sketchy situations you inadvertently find yourself in (cause your a knucklehead anyway). Nice extra flashlight in the same mode - use it and lose it, no big loss - and who doesn't love a few extras? Haven't truly researched it yet but replacing the batteries may be a large percentage of the total cost. Get it and if you love it upgrade to the GPS unit for your $5k Specialized or get a spare one of these for your Huffy.

This item is excellent value for money and simple to set up. The graphics are clear and easy to read while you are cycling. The backlight feature is also useful. A nice little extra is that a flashing rear warning light is given free with this product and comes in the box with the computer.

Very easy to set up. Held up just fine after a pretty strong rainstorm. It has a lot of functions, which can be confusing with just two buttons, but once you get the hang of it it feels like second nature. The holder seems a bit flimsy (especially the clip that holds the odometer in place). I was afraid either the holder would break apart or the odometer would jump off, but it held in place nicely for a month and a half --and the streets in my city are wrecked enough that the poor thing suffers some serious vibration. Both the sensor and the mount bring small pieces of double-side tape to stick them in place so they get extra secured, which is a clever touch.

I’ve been looking for an inexpensive bike speedometer as I’ve gotten into bike packing on my vintage steel bike. There are many sketchy ones on ebay so that led me here to this one. This one didn’t look funky like some knockoff and is surprisingly waterproof. Upon opening the speedo, I was impressed with the packaging and the quality of the product. Honestly, it feels sturdy and robust. It’s not lightweight cheap-o plastic from china which made me EXTREMELY happy considering the low price i paid compared to other meters out there. I absolutely love this product. The only two things I wish were different would be that it uses a more widely accepted battery for the sensor like a AAA or AA instead of an A27 but I haven’t had to change it for a long time so it’s a minor concern. The other thing I would change would be that it attaches via zip ties. I wish it would be some rubber attachment or something but again, for the price it is more than enough to attach it and looks clean when they’re cut down. Overall I highly recommend this bike speedometer for the price. You just can’t beat it and it’s fulfilled by Amazon so if anything ever does happen… (nothing should happen)… you can always get it worked out.Pros:- Sturdy- Easy set up- Waterproof- Looks clean- Accurate- DurableCons:- The battery for the wireless detector is an A27 I think… would love for a AAA but oh well….- It attaches via Zipties
