As a content creator, I have purchased many capture cards over the years, and this is the best one by far. Very simple to set up and haven't had issues with it so far. The video capture quality is amazing and captures everything up to 60fps. If you're looking for a capture card to record your gameplay on modern consoles, you can't go wrong with this one.One additional note: Video playback of the video capture did appear to be choppy and not be 60fps while playing back content in the official software for the HD60 X. However, when playing back content in a different video player, the video quality was very high and was extremely smooth at 60fps. So, if you're not happy with the video playback of the recording, just use something else outside of the official software to view your recording.

This hands down the best USB capture card ever. Even though that this capture card doesn't truly record true HDR. It actually converts HDR to SDR when recording locally automatically. In my case I realized that was what I wanted for my use case. I was recording my Nintendo 64 that was modded to have HDMI I was outputting HDR 10 and it came out perfect the output video. Even though that it's standard color video it looks exactly like how it's portrayed on screen when playing. So it's convenient and it's make it easy for you upload it to YouTube since you don't need to wait for HDR to process. The colors already show in regular video so people with regular non HDR screens can see the video the same way. What's interesting is that if you actually want to have true HDR it's easy, you just live stream on YouTube through OBS. If you want the most accurate way of capturing your video of your consoles this capture card is it.

The Elgato HD60 X is an excellent capture card that delivers crisp 1080p60 HDR10 streaming and recording, with 4K30 support for those wanting higher resolution content. The ultra-low latency ensures smooth gameplay and a seamless streaming experience. Setup was simple, and the build quality feels robust. My streams and recordings look amazing, and there’s minimal lag or delay. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that I’ve occasionally experienced some compatibility hiccups with certain software, and sound delays but these have been minor. Overall, it’s a fantastic capture card for serious streamers and content creators!

Good product, I use it to record footage from my original XBox using an hdmi converter and it performs really well. I purchased this unit specifically because my research showed it would be compatible with linux and it was, no drivers, no messing around, just plug and play.

Easy to install, great picture quality.A little more expensive than cheap options, but worth it for the money to know they have some quality control.Storage goes to your hard drive, no on board storage capacity, but functions great.

I am a self-admitted fringe case when it comes to the capture card audience, because I'm not just buying them to stream from. My primary use for them is to play console games directly from the capture preview, because frankly I'm a PC gamer that's just too lazy to buy speakers. Doing it this way makes streaming through discord simple, lets me use my PC's recording and clipping setup to make easy recordings, and keeps me from having to figure out new ways to set up my various consoles to use my nice headphones.Some of you probably visibly recoiled reading that paragraph, and maybe a few of you even passed out, so I apologize. Obviously, this is a bad idea -- but it's a testament to Elgato that they've enabled my ridiculous setup. Before I upgraded to a graphics card so big that I had to remove it, I previously used an internal PCie HD 60 Pro card, and in switching to a USB card I was worried about how it would hold up in terms of the HD 60 Pro's basically nonexistent latency and perfect quality. I do think it feels like there's a tiny bit more latency, at least as far as I can tell from completely unscientific observations, but it's still well within the playable range. I mostly use consoles for singleplayer games, but I can at least vouch for it in saying that I still have the highest amount of minigame stars won in Mario Party Jamboree with my friends (if you don't know what this means, just know it's a very coveted achievement, up there with Oscars and the Nobel Prize).How much latency is there, exactly? I don't know; at the risk of being a bit controversial, using a gamepad already feels like those nightmares where you try to throw a punch but just swing your arms around like noodles to me so the most I can say is it doesn't make it feel any worse. How does it affect the picture quality? I don't know, none of my consoles can output at 1440p anyways. But it works, and it works well. And if it works this well for my clown college farce of a setup, it's probably even better for people using it the way it's intended.

Certe un investissement mais c'est le gage de la qualité, et j'espère, durabilité dans le temps.Mise en place facile et rapide pour permettre de streamer sur Twitch la Switch via OBS.Attention à bien utiliser un USB de couleur bleu pour la connectique sur la tour (ou le pc portable).Capture vidéo et son sans décalage observé pour ma part. Rien à redire donc pour l'instant.
