This shower door is not only beautiful, but very sturdy. My contractor installed it easily. It compares with an expensive custom shower door.

Product did not seem to be the Elegant product I ordered. No where on the box, instructions, or labels did it say Elegant. Instead I received a product from Sunny, but it was comparable to the photo of the Elegant product. Maybe Sunny is the supplier?

This is not a BAD shower door...It is just "built down to a price" and is probably not going to last 5 years....The number one downside to this product is that the glass doors are not framed in...You literally have two sheets of glass with holes drilled in them, that you add hardware to...Unlike my old shower doors, which were glass panels inside aluminum frames...The downside was that they were much heavier, although the glass was the same thickness.....The GOOD:The price-These are literally the cheapest shower doors I could find in my weird size, which is 53-1/2" wide...They arrived in perfect condition because they are well-packaged..They arrived in a timely fashion-Ordered on April 9th, and they were delivered on April 15th-But the vendor is in So Cal and I am in Nor Cal, so your transit times will vary..I installed this and without caulking the outside, took a shower and no water leaked out...So I am pretty satisfied with that..The Bad:The instructions, although I was able to follow them, were clearly written by someone who doesn't speak English as their first language and their are a few typos and mis-spellingsThe hardware-One of the wall anchors (which I didn't use) was broken in half, with the other half missing, so was basically un-usable and, the wall anchors are the tube type, which means they do not have the flange, which would keep them from being driven all the way inside the wall and disappearing..The bottom guide is not fixed in place on the bottom track, as they expect you to fix it in place with silicone...Not sure how well that would work...My last shower door bottom guide was screwed in place...Also, the guide has one half that is super tight and one half that is sloppy loose, so one door swings as it slides through, and the other grabs and drags the guide with it, at least right now before I have siliconed it in place..What I've learned:A. If you don't cap/seal your silicone caulk tube, it will dry out and become unusable, unlike latex caulk...B. But you can't use latex caulk around water (outside, or inside a bathroom or other wet area) because it is water-based and water will cause it to break down over time.C. I am not getting any younger and moving a 95 or so pound package is not as easy as it used to be..D. There are wood studs behind the walls where the vertical/side frame pieces sit, so I removed the vendors screws and drove some 2-1/2" deck screws in their place, meaning they were driven into the studs and are no longer reliant on the hollow wall anchors, and now the whole set up is MUCH sturdier....E. The top rail/head piece comes pre-drilled with a hole at each end for screwing it to the upright pieces..BUT, if like me, you have to cut the head rail, AND you cut off what you need all from one end, instead of a little from both ends, you may lose one of your holes, and then cause the other hole to no longer be in a good position...So I had to re-drill the holes.F. You have to drill holes through the upright pieces and through the bottom track and then screw them together, which is not easy to do, down low, and right up against a wall..G. Remember that the bottom track sits INSIDE the two upright pieces, and therefore, needs to be shorter than the actual inside, wall to wall measurement..H. Remember that the head rail/top rail sits on TOP of the two vertical/side pieces and is therefore to be of a length to span wall to wall...IF like me, your head rail actually sits above your tile, and is therefore needing to be longer than you at first think...I. You can adjust for out of plumb walls or a not perfect installation by removing the doors, loosening the screw on the roller itself (not the bracket) and sliding the roller/wheel left or right and tightening and re-installing the door(s)...J. Neither of my doors were square at first and I had to adjust both rollers on both doors...IE, the top part of the door would hit the bumper at the top, and there would be a gap near the bottom, or visa versa....IE the doors were canted..But tweaking the rollers fixed the problem...Again, handling these doors is bad enough without frames, so I am glad they didn't weigh as much as they could have...P.S. I took my time and messed with this over both days of a weekend, doing it slowly so I wouldn't mess anything up...IF you were working with two people or have done this sort of work before, it's an easy 1 day job....Anyway, GOOD LUCK! ;)

This shower was exactly what I was looking for to put in my 4 boys bathroom. It's a steampunk theme and it matches great. Everything came in perfect condition and easy to install. My husband just had to cut the top and bottom metal to the length of our opening which was just slightly shorter, but was easy to do. This is great for the money, sturdy, well made, and looks and feels custom.
