I bought this at Home Depot in May 2019 and all the reviews were so positive because everyone is from a recent purchase and they all say how pretty it is, but none of that matters when after only ONE YEAR installed in our half bath I noticed that the "stainless steel" is RUSTING!! This is NOT acceptable for a shower door, since baths are always going to have moisture. As a note to skeptics, I have followed all of the care requirements meticulously including using only Dawn dish liquid and a microfiber cloth for cleaning the glass etc. We have a window AND a vent inside the bathroom and the vent automatically comes on with the light. Sorry Dreamline, but this is simply NOT acceptable. I was going to buy another for my 2nd bath remodel but NO WAY I WILL BUY ANYTHING from this company again. Now I have found out that other people are having the same problems and their warranty is a total joke.

Love it!I was really concerned when buying this after reading negative reviews. In the end I decided to take the risk (this is the best looking model out there IMHO) and really happy that I did. It looked to me like the manufacturer addressed all the issues pointed out in negative reviews. Instructions are perfectly clear, not a single important detail is missing. All the hardware is in the package, you can see a personal sigh off note from a QC worker. There are double seals between the glass door and the stationary glass to ensure no leaks if the sliding door is next to the wall opposite to the shower head. There is a small stainless steel splash guard siliconed along the base of the sliding door to prevent water from getting under the door and to the floor (not shown on some installation pictures). Overall very nice and smart design. All the hardware is solid stainless steel precisely machined. Multiple ways to make your final adjustments. This really puts you mind at ease when drilling through your new expensive tiles - even if you screw up little bit you'll be able to recover using secondary adjustment features. Installed it myself with no issues and really happy with the final result. Couple of things to keep in mind if you don't have any experience with glass installations: glass pieces are heavy, I highly recommend having a second pair of hands during the install; you will need a steel cutting disk to cut the steel bar to length (I did not have one and had to buy it); read through the entire install process before hand to understand the complete sequence. I felt like some safety features are a bit overkill, e.g. permanent threadlock on secondary (safety) screws. But, I guess, better safe than sorry... Overall, easy to follow install process with great final result.

We are experienced DIYers and this project did challenge us. It is absolutely beautiful when finished. The quality is superior over any other doors we have looked at. The instructions are detailed and if one takes their time and goes over them more than once you should have no problem. One person would have a hard time installing this alone but it could be done if your are patient and strong. The glass is very heavy and needs to be handled correctly. We did take our time and when we felt tired we waited until the next day. If you think this will go up in an hour - it won't. I would say 3 solid hours is accurate. We have had many compliments on this door already and will be installing another one in our other remodeled bathroom. Great door DreamLine!

Check out picture. Looks Great.Took professional contractor four hours to install. Job for two adults. Glass thickness is good (not quite 1/2 inch) and very clear. Rod and hardware good quality, BUT the allen wrenchs are really cheap and are made of soft metal (they strip out when you go to tighten screws). Instructions are fair, so you should have some logical mechanical sense to install. Sure looks better than the old sliding frosted doors which were removed.Delivery was quick and even though crate and boxes looked in really bad condition, everything was perfect. Glass quality is very good (clear). Metal parts are solid (and heavy). Installed doors add a touch of elegance to remodeled bathroom. Certainly worth the money in my opinion. All hardware was included with this unit and none was missing. Adjustable glass panels by using the unique "off set" holders made adjustments easy. Would certainly endorse this product.

This is a nicely engineered product and most parts are of top quality. The main bar two holes that hold the stationary glass were not aligned with each other which worries me. Also the part that has threads fell out. I put a little duct tape to hold and pushed back in bar. No problem then. The alignment of the bar is critical and the door will roll if not perfectly level. Four stars because of alignment of holes. This thing looks beautiful.

This is a review of a product, not this company that sells it.This is a review of a sliding type of Enigma door by DreamLine - one stationary and one sliding glass.Although it is a good looking set and relatively at a good price (I paid around $1000 with delivery), I have had numerous problems with it to qualify for a one-star grade:1. The initial delivery had a defective guiding glass piece - the part that attaches to the top of the tub, and sliding glass glides inside of it - had a manufacturing defect that prevented the glass from moving. Needless to say, my contractor discovered it close to the end of the installation and had to stop. While I was waiting for the replacement part, the contractor left and had to come back when it arrived. He charged me for that extra time.2. My main gripe is about the rust that appeared on several parts after four months of relatively light use in a ventilated bathroom. And the rust is on the main rod and other pieces that support sliding glass. Now, I have to, basically, to re-install the whole contraption. At $300 to $400 for installation in my area, it is fast becoming a very expensive product.Bottom line - cheap China-made metal materials. Glass looks OK.
