I love this timer - it’s very attractive, easy to use & having the ability to place it on the side of my refrigerator with its magnetized back ensures it’s readily available to use at any time. Plus, it is soooo much easier than using the wind-up timer I had!!!

I bought this not for cooking but to remind me when my laundry cycle is up. Works really well and the dinger is loud enough to leap you into action to turn it off. So when you are up you can attend to whatever you set it for. Perfect! I am pleased with my purchased🇨🇦

This is the best kitchen timer I have ever owned. It works flawlessly and the battery seems to last a long time. My previous timers would break into 4 or 5 pieces if it was dropped and the battery contacts would give out temporarily . This one is a well built timer.

I paid A$54.90 and a few days later its being sold at $61.It looks nice and does the job, but its not worth either of these prices. There are many other models on Amazon and other outlets for less than A$20 and I assumed this version must be something special - it's not. It (unusually) has a lifetime warranty but at this high price you could buy 3 cheaper models and get the same functionality.

Buttons are sturdy and stable. Numbers on screen reflect light well and are easy to read from all angles. Magnet is very strong. Alarm is loud and easy to tone down. None of these points are true of the Wrenwane timer this timer replaced for me.

I hate to admit how much time I spent trying to find a basic, reasonably priced digital kitchen timer. Every time I thought I found one, the reviews were terrible. Either the device was missing some essential feature (like only measuring minutes/seconds, or not letting you adjust volume), or it was poor quality with lots of reports of dead-on-arrival or broken-after-two-weeks.This timer gets good reviews, and for good reason. It is small enough to stay out of the way but big enough to be easy to handle and read. There are no esoteric menus or overly complicated features to deal with. It just measures time. Start/stop and set/reset is simple and intuitive, and you can switch between minutes/seconds or hours/minutes via a dedicated button on the back. The alarm has three volume settings: silent, loud, and insanely loud, selected via a dedicated switch on the back. The lower volume setting is loud enough to be heard over a vent hood or radio in the same room. The high volume setting can be heard in adjoining rooms and possibly adjoining counties. The face plate feels like it actually might be stainless instead of faux-stainless plastic. Either way, the timer matches most brushed stainless appliances and feels well built. I've been using it regularly for about a month now, and so far no problems. Well worth the few bucks extra.

There are a lot of comments claiming things that simply are not true about timer model eT-78 that I received. For example, many have complained about, having to press the button once for each minute needed (i.e. 60 times for 60 minutes). This is not the case with this timer. If you press and hold, it will increment very quickly to the desired setting. People also can't seem to figure out how to count up. All of the functions are clearly explained in the instructions, which must be read. My only complaint is that it is very easy to scroll past the desired time, and the only way to fix it is to clear/reset to zero and do it again. To avoid this problem, it is best to press and hold and let go of the button a few units of time before the desired time, and then press the button one digit at a time for the remainder. The ringer runs for a minute and is quite loud and jarring on the highest setting. This is best used if you are in another room. The low setting is not jarring and best when used if you are near the timer. The magnet holds very well, yet is easy to remove. I did run the count-up feature alongside the stopwatch on my very expensive and presumed to be accurate phone and the times matched. I took off one star for "easy to use" because the instructions are required reading and the only way to fix going past the desired time is to clear/reset and start over.
