I got this for my son to be able to time his piano practices to ensure he was practicing for the proper amount of time. He's actually really enjoyed using it and it's helped keep him focused on the task. The large, easy-to-read display and colorful countdown visuals make it perfect for kids. You can use it for homework, chores, reading time, pretty much anything!The 99-minute countdown is great for both short and long activities, and the musical alert is fun as well as noticeable but not too loud. It’s also lightweight and portable, so I can move it between rooms easily. If you need a fun and effective way to manage time, this is a must-have!

This timer is absolutely precious and has come in handy for potty-training. My child likes the design and tune that plays when the timer runs out. It’s easy to use, the display is a good size, and the volume is adjustable. It’s nice that children can actually see how much time they have via the colored “snake” on the outside. My only complaint is there is a pause button on the top, so the timer needs to be out-of-reach of the little one so they don’t continuously pause the timer (like my child does).

Cute, cleverly done kiddo timer, super easy to use. I got this for my granddaughter who just turned three. I live near them, but they’ve already sent me two videos thanking me for this. We’re trying to teach the three-year-old what it means when we say ”just a minute, bedtime/bathtime/park is in five minutes”, etc.

I think I would not give this to kids like under 13. It does what it is supposed to do but when the alarm goes off, it is really really really loud. Did I mention it is loud. Gave us all quite a jump when we first heard it go off. I think more suited for someone, anyone who has a hard time waking to an alarm.

Purchased for 2 little boys who are obsessed with dinosaurs and in need of some time management skills. I was thinking of one of those sand timers when I came across this little friend. I like the audio and visual components. It’s pretty straight forward to use but does come with an instruction manual or helpful video embedded on the site. I like that the battery is lithium. It came with a good charge but I plugged it in to get to full (solid green) before trying it out. All the functions worked smoothly. I wasn’t sure about the snake that builds to full when time is up, but then realized he is color coded like the stop lights the boys watch when riding in the car. They are very aware of the green, yellow, red pattern and this is what the snake also does, coming to a full stop at red. Clever. If you’re in need of a timer, this is a simple, kid-friendly version. It really only has that one function but sometimes simple is best.

I was looking for a toothbrush timer, and figured this could work for other things as well. I like that the battery is rechargeable. The "snake head" on the display is a cute touch (the last circle to appear is a snake's head biting its own tail).

I gotta say I love it! Just got it and it’s so easy to set the time and oddly enough- still comfortable to hold given its Dino shape. We are using it for quick timeouts, focused together playtime and individual playtime. Gamechanger!
