Great sound, great multipurpose controls over sound, temps, different kinds of drum sound, recording capabilities, can connect to you laptop or computer to do even more with your drum beats. Fun for kid of adults. This roll up drum pad would be a great way for an adult or a child, just anyone who would like an introduction into drumming. Even though it's an electronic drum pad it's still very versatile to play any where , it has a headphone jack, it's battery operated as well as being a rechargeable USB device. The roll up drum pad has every part/instrument labeled above each one that is included in the roll up drum kit. This is a definite important aspect for me when I purchased it because I was a novice as well as my 8 yr old niece which whom I did agree to buy for US 😄 notice I said US!? That's because we both wanted it the day we saw a YouTube video of an awesome drummer playing a roll up drum pad in the middle of Best Buy like the obvious professional drummer he was! Making it sound & look nothing short of amazing. So if you on the edge, just take the plunge! And BUY, BUY , FREAK'N BUY this ROLL UP DRUM PAD!!! its so worth it!! I promise you won't regret it. I swear even your grandma & grandpa would love playing this on holiday get togethers! And man that's another good reason to buy it, it's a perfect party pleaser! There's never any person or any age that wouldn't enjoy this very enjoyable drum pad! For real you won't regret it! Trust me!

I expected something of cheaper quality for the price it was, but I was very impressed. Yes, the pads are smaller than some of the more expensive ones, but I believe they are big enough to be used well (good way to teach a drummer stick control). I was really impressed by the sound quality of the Toms, Snare, and Bass, but not as thrilled with the cymbal sounds. All in all, an awesome set for a great price.

This is and amazing instrument to take anywhere, but one of the pedals never worked. It makes sound every now and then. Other than that I can say is great. The sound is good, the battery life is good... I recommend.

Nice drum set for my young son. Only issue is that the headphone jack seats in a strange position...it works, but you can't push it in all the way...assume this is just a glitch with the one I got.
