I needed a space heater for my office, our office building is very old and get cold in here no matter if heat is on or not. Michigan winter vs 100+ year building, well when the temperatures are in the single digits or below, it’s cold in this office. This little heater works just great. It has two functions, low or high. The high one is a little loud at first but then you just get used to it. Also has a safety feature at the bottom, where if knocked over or lifted, heater turns off. Usually I keep it on top of my desk, but I’ve also used it under in on high setting and it gets the job done. I also like the fact it’s not bulky because I don’t like so much stuff on my desk. I found my coworker has the same after I had purchased mine and she said she loves hers too.

This little heater, and it is little, helped keep my 10x12 bedroom nice and warm. I live in a 60 apartment building with hot water heat. We can control the heat somewhat but my bedroom faces north and this winter has been brutal.I bought this to use under my desk but it was so cold in my bedroom I decided to see if it would help. I set it on the dresser on low. In about 10 minutes my room was cozy. And on low there's no noise. And to to top it off the price was good. I have used it every night for several weeks with no problemx. And the tip over shut off works when I move it. I definitely recommend it.

This is (I believe) the cheapest electric heater Amazon offers. It is simple and very basic. As advertised, it has two settings at 200 and 500 watts (unverified) and a bottom weight sensor to insure the unit turns off if tipped over. It is quiet at 200W, but significantly louder (still not bad) at 500W. It's small and light weight. It does not have a thermostat and won't turn off when the area reaches any given temp. This is why it is only $14. I bought it as an emergency heater, as a hard freeze just fit us two days ago, and I got it for my small greenhouse, to run non-stop at 200W to keep temps above freezing. It fits my needs. I think it deserves 5 stars for it fitting my needs, but am giving it 4 stars as a simple thermostat could be added and the sales price adjusted up $1 to cover the additional manufacturing cost and still make the same profit.
