Works great after a year being used 3 times a day. Son takes pills via his gtube. This grinds them to a fine powder that dissolves easily which can be pushed through the gtube.

This product is not good for grinding meds for administration via feeding tube. I was really hoping it would help because I have so many meds to grind for my husband, but this causes it to be so powdered that it causes a cloud of medicine when you open the container. Even if you let it sit a few minutes first, so much medicine is lost into the air (and my lungs) when opened. It would be great for grinding other things that need to be a powdered consistency, but too much for what I bought it for.

Lo utilizo para triturar los medicamentos de mi Mamá, ya que no los puede ingerir. El aparato es muy potente y en segundos deshace las tabletas, algo que me tomaba varios minutos con un triturador manual y en varias etapas.Sin embargo se debe de tener cuidado, ya que pulveriza tanto el material que al abrir se volatiliza y puede uno inhalar el polvo de los medicamentos.Recomiendo primero triturar someramente las que lleven capa entérica, ya que son las más duras y después agregar las tabletas normales, checando que sólo se hagan gránulos para evitar el polvo.Por lo demás es un excelente producto de calidad. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

The pills in powder form somehow ended up outside of the container. You can’t be sure to have all of you medicine as it hides in every crevice available. In the rubber that seals the top on, under the blade. It’s almost impossible to get all your meds out of this device. I’ll be asking for a refund.
