1. Grandchild approved, play toy!2. Item as expected, instructions in Chinese. Wasn’t too hard to figure out how to get the batteries in.3. I purchased this item because I only have one usable hand. Believe it or not it’s very difficult to open an envelope with one hand. It works supremely well.

This product cuts open mail very well and it made opening my mail weirdly fun. I love that it’s so small that it can be stored away easily. I love that it is just heavy enough that it stays on my desk as it slices across the top of an envelope. I only have positive thoughts about this product and am excited to get to use it again.10/10 would recommend. Especially if you need something to make you want to open your mail.

I purchased this because I get a lot of mail each day and only open it on the weekends. This amount to a lot of letter opening activity in a single sitting. This device works surprising well and does not hesitate to cut the top off of any envelope cleanly. A very nice product.

I did not expect something so inexpensive to work so well. The price is low so you should expect the materials and construction to be delicate. It works just as it shows and I would buy another one if the time ever came. Follow the instructions and don't force it and you will be happy.

I got MAYBE 5-6 uses out of this item before it became jammed. I see a lot of reviews of issues with jamming. However, I didn’t get the chance to ever un-jam it to get it to work again. Once it jammed, I was never able to use again. I DO NOT recommend this item. …and it was an expensive to not receive more use than I did!!!!

I love my new electric letter-opener, allows me to effortlessly open mail. Only downside is I notice it doesn't cut completely straight and the noise is a little loud.
