Andrew Jones did a nice job on these reference towers. They have smooth highs, mids (mids are a bit scooped) and mid bass. However as with any skinny tower your going to need a sub or two as this speaker rolls off around 45hz.They are a bit more laid back than my similar sized but $500 cheaper Airmotiv T1+ towers with ribbons. (Love these)However I think these would be better suited in a HT setup, I personaly wouldn't use them in a 2 channel system.

At this price point it is hard to find a better pair of towers. Objective measurements and subjective listening reveals they are in the ballpark of the Revel F35. I recommend checking both of them out. Either are better than most of the competition.
