I bought this because I wanted a premium set of EKG calipers, and I paid the premium in price compared to the cheap $8 plastic sets. On its face, these calipers are very sturdy, with notable heft. Unfortunately, the set-screw used to adjust the stiffness of the calipers is absolute trash. Mine was over-tightened on delivery, and despite my best attempts to carefully loosen it with the included screwdriver, the screw stripped almost instantly. I'm incredibly disappointed that after spending $25 on a pair of premium calipers one of the most basic aspects of the device is non-functional.

This was a replacement pair. I work in Electrophysiology, and use them quite often every day. My first pair lasted for at least 2 years before they started falling out of the cover and stabbing me. 🤣. Will continue to buy these calipers.

I ordered the Geekidoc EKG Calipers for work as I frequently need them throughout my work day on an inpatient cardiac unit. Other generic calipers I've purchased never seem to last; whether it's due to quality, or a generic in appearance pair that can often get confused as belonging to another co-worker. These so far seem incredibly well made, sturdy, and are fabulously unique in their packaging with a vibrant color that cannot be misidentified. I'm thrilled with both quality and design!

I like the pen clip feature, it will not fall out of your lab coat, it is annoying to lose calipers which happens all the time. I purchased it as a gift as Jr. goes off to med school clinical rotations, of course he does not have a desk yet so it is all about the lab coat.

I waited 3 months to update my initial review (had the initial misfortune to have a defective caliper). I have used this caliper now on daily basis for calls, consults, ecg conferences, EP rotations, you name it...And not once it has let me down. It has a nice weight to it, it’s not too loose or stiff, and it looks great! Since then, many co-fellows now own this caliper too, all of whom are pleased as well as I am. Moreover, Chris and Geekidocs have an outstanding consumer service... they were very prompt to replace my initial caliper and make sure I was happy with the product.

Arrived and is very clearly USED, yet sold as new. When I first opened it, i noticed the top metal piece already was tarnished. I opened the cap and the inside calipers are clearly smudged with someone else’s fingerprints. I’m disappointed a used item was sold as new. I’m more even more disappointed because they were for a gift tomorrow. Now I have no gift to give tomorrow

Pros: Calipers themselves are great, perfect amount of tension, love the color, love the weight, and love the pen-cap design that allows me to keep them clipped to the pocket of my white coat.Cons: May just be my pair, but even in the first week of use, they occasionally slip out of the pen cap, leaving them rolling around in my pocket on rounds.Overall: Great calipers, minor gripe about a not-so-perfectly fitting pen cap. Would still recommend them to colleagues.

Great product, high quality, love the pen style in a color bright enough to see when coworkers try to walk off with it. Shipped and recieved same day was a nice added plus. Seller is a little annoying with begging like a bum outside of a liquor store, in their requests via email to review product. Are you happy now Geekidoc? Can I get back to my inbox of more important items? Theres a Nigerian prince with more urgent needs than this review.
