This Caliper works great, the springs are strong and allow for accuracy. I bought this to calculate BF for clients to better measure progress, it works great, and for its price I highly recommend it.

Most informative usage brochure I have found for this type of product. Tells, and shows, how to effectively use the product and then calculate you BF percentage. Probably the most cost effective way to figure it out. BF percentage is so much more important than just your weight. It's what your weighing, not what you weigh.Highly recommended.

I didn't read in any of the reviews that this is a very hard plastic and hurts a lot when squeezing your fat. Sheeze! Had I read this, I never would have bought it. Instead, everyone raved about this and gave it great reviews. Now, this darn thing is sitting in one of my drawers and I have yet to measure my fat. Not worth the money and I really wish I hadn't of bought it.

There's not much to complain about when it comes to this pair of calipers. It seems to be as accurate as something like this can be, and the thing is fairly sturdy for plastic. The only complaint is that the part that pinches the fat is put together in a way that scratches the skin, so I had to file it down until it became smooth. It's not a big deal, but it definitely does hurt this review a bit that I had to do that.

You will find complaints about accuracy on this product and others. It is a good product and is intended to get a baseline. Scales can be very inaccurate and deceiving. Things to note, always measure the same way. If you have someone measure for you, assure that you have them re-check you. This will ensure you can keep your results as accurate as possible. If you want to know perfect body fat percentage, then it is time to go to "Hydrostatic (Underwater) Body Fat Testing". If you want to monitor progress then this is a good tool.Just don't forget to use the same sites and techniques every time.
