Ok this is a weird application but I needed to set the bearing pre-load on a steering box I was rebuilding. This (and another one from the same brand rated for a lower load) worked well for my DIY-mechanic application.

Certainly not lab quality but it seems to be accurate enough for measuring spring tensions on critical relay springs. Newton and Kilo markings are great but ounces would be a welcome addition.
