Extra Leyden Jar designed for use with Eisco Labs Wimshurst Machine (PH0848C) - great to have on hand as spares in the laboratory. Jar is made of high quality, heavy duty Corning glass and has a rimmed top. Contains cork on the inside. Bottom exterior is composed of aluminum.

Jar stands approximately 6.5" tall and has an inner diameter measuring 2".

Used these to replace another brand Wimshurst Machine that used failed prone, lesser quality thin plastic Leyden Jars.....Nice large 100 pf capacity lab quality boro glass with good heavy aluminum foil sheeting construction....Where the Oem plastic jars suffered low usage time HV breakdown/punch thru, these quality glass Leyden Jars are holding up to wide maximum spark gap without fail.... Highly recommended for Oem upgrade or new diy construction....
