The complete apparatus has a 15cm adjustable scale, marked in millimeters, to mitigate parallax error. The scale is mounted on sturdy 30cm support rod and a wooden base. A hook supporting a coiled spring with a 10g mass hanger and indicator is attached to rod. Nine additional 10g slotted masses are included, for a total of 100g. Includes instructions.

Such a great find at a great price! It is nice to have such a scientific instrument to use for the homeschool science labs!! It arrived very quickly, and was easy to put together and use. It was just like the one the on-line instructor had which made it easy for the students to understand how to use it and get the data they needed to complete the lab.

Eisco has been a go-to for my science classes for years. My last few purchases, however, have shown that quality has definitely slipped from construction to instruction. One of the weights was missing from the package and the instructions written by someone obviously struggling with the English language. As this is the third disappointing Physics item I have purchased this year alone I will be stocking my lab bins/shelves with supplies from a different supplier.
