I don't use a hanging type balance but since the hook can be pushed up inside of the weight this works perfect for me to check calibration on my electronic scales. All have been perfectly calibrated, I'm happy to say. Recommended.

This weight works great for checking our postal scales for accuracy. We needed a good way to check our scales for accuracy and this weight fit the bill. When we placed the weight on our scales our skills read exactly 100 G. The weight is good quality and can be hung if you're using a balance type weight measuring device.
