These brushes are a nice shape and size, but they shed their fibers in your food! I used them for basic tasks like brushing glaze on a cake and putting an egg wash on bread and they would leave their hairs all over my food. Today I tried to pull the hairs off (gently) and came away with a fistful of hair. Gross.

I have to be super gentle and bristles fall out even after first use on both brushes. I feel like using more glue (or whatever they use would solve this easily). I would give negative stars if I could. Nothing should be falling apart before you even use it.

Bristles won't lay down flat after first wash. The wood in the picture shows nice and rich. It's not. It's rough, not sanded and cheap.Not recommended.

I am lazy and I bake a lot and I like tools that work great and these ones work PHENOMENAL but the little one… me and that one have issues. I first somehow melted it in the microwave so the bristles moves weird?? Then I thought hey the dishwasher could fix it and I was wrong. The bristles came out clumped lol but the thin long one still working it’s magic
