I was taken back a bit by how cheaply this item is made for the money. It is totally constructed of plastic. I’m sure the first time it falls to the floor it will break. Aside from that, this item is easy to set up and provides a variety of angles with which to place your documents on the stand.

I really like using this Portable Paper assistant. The only improvement I would suggest is a deeper lip on the bottom paper holder, so paper does not slid out.Otherwise it is GREAT !

It’s good but just wish a little edge to be L-shape to protect paper fall off. Still love it!!! Easy for me to hold paper and type at the time instead of bending my head down to read !

I've been using this in my crafting room to hold sewing patterns, knitting/crochet patterns, and directions for whatever it is I am doing. It's sturdy, it works for its intended purchase, and it has been a great investment!

I do a lot of data entry at work and have various papers around at all times. This is very helpful for me! I can stack them on this stand and the plastic arm will hold them in place. It is clear, and you can read through it but it's easier to just look around it. The angle of the stand has several options. The back has a plate that sits in grooves. You can change the angle just by moving that plate forward or backward. The plate snaps into place if you push it in, and the whole thing will stay there until you move it. I have had mine up for days and it doesn't budge. This comes with a pen holder as well. That just snaps on either side, and can be moved higher or lower to where you want it. If you have legal sized documents, the top part expands up to accommodate the longer paper. This has saved me a bunch of time and headaches. I can read the writing easier, and the papers don't get messed up on my desk. I have a desk lap aimed right at this stand as well. Really helps read tiny print. I have found that if you press the plastic arm firmly into the holder it comes on, it will stay better and have more retention. There are no instructions, so maybe that was supposed to be done? Not sure. The arm moves easily to allow you to add or remove papers in a second. Now that I can keep my head still and be able to read and type at the same time, I have gotten no headaches in the last week. My eyes used to be sore by the end of the day, but not so much now. I have more energy when I get home as well. I can only assume it is all related, as there have been no other changes to my routine.Overall, I wish I had this from day one when I was hired. It weighs nothing, easy to set up, can be used for everything, and saves my eye strain and headaches. Not to mention lost papers when people come by and mess with things on your desk! I would very happily pay full price of this stand. If mine breaks, I will be buying one immediately. I hope it helps your work as well!
