I love my EGO auger propelled snow blower however the plastic scraper bar, which performs fantastically well on a concrete driveway, does wear out quickly. After one season I knew I needed to have a spare scraper bar on hand.None of my local EGO retailers stocked this, and some wanted to charge a premium to bring it in as it was a "special order" item. Thankfully Amazon carries it so I ordered it here.The item shipped quickly and it had the EGO retail packaging which included an instruction booklet for the installation as well as the replacement nuts and bolts, which I found out some EGO resellers omit when ordering this part.Unfortunately the package I received, while it was sealed, the bag that had the nuts and bolts was missing one of the 5 spring washers. Thankfully Amazon was able to initiate a replacement at no additional cost however it will take a couple more weeks to get here.If you have the EGO auger propelled snow blower, this part is a must have to keep on hand. You will need to replace it after one or two seasons. And Amazon seems to be the best place in Canada to get it from.

Nice that this part ordered thru Amazon came with replacement mounting bolts/nuts and instructions, all in an EGO box. Not so when ordered through retailer - just the blade - and had to be special ordered at a premium surcharge. These seem to be hard to come by this year and if you have a concrete driveway, it wears pretty quickly which is a bit disappointing. I’d suggest having a spare on hand. I waited 1-2 months between two sources hoping one would deliver much earlier than the other.
