There are 1000s of "better egg separators" sold here. They all claim to be easier, faster, and more convenient than the old methods. You know what? They're not. I ordered this Stainless Steel Yolk White Separation Tool and am very happy with what I received.The tool is sturdy and doesn't feel like cheap plastic because it's not. It has a long handle to straddle the top of a cup or bowl, its made of steel, and you open an egg, pour it into the wired separator, shake, and you're done. Seriously, that's all there is. Any other tool out there, if it even works, requires more effort, more cleaning, and more frustration. Sometimes, the classics exist for a reason, and people should stop trying to improve upon them by making them worse.This also cleans up quickly in the sink or dishwasher, and at the asking price of around $5, it is a no-brainer purchase. Five stars.
