I bought the 1kg discus. The weight of the rim divided by the weight of the complete discus is 77%.The description mentions 85% but this might be for the 2kg discus.According to ThrwsLab (who sell Nelco), 77% is in the High Spin category (75-85%).The fit and finish of the Cannon discus is acceptable when considering the low price.I would recommend this discus as a step up from a starter (center weighted) or intermediate (low spin) discus.

Not tan as described.....weighs 1.1k....thrower feels like it is not an 85 rim weight and more like a 70
