These filters are cut smaller than the OEM version so there is space for air to bypass the filter on each side. Does not work as well.

These filters, as a bundle of six, are much cheaper than any other filters and work just as well as the name brand. They fit perfectly and last as long as the name brand (a month for me because we have hard water). I have ordered these multiple times and highly recommend them.

I liked the price, but then later realized they didn't work because as a lot of buyers stated, it was almost an inch shorter in width than what was needed, even though it stated the measurements are 10.5, and the OEM is 11 inches wide. It was too late to return it when I went to replace my filters and realized. The fact it lets water cross over without going through the filter defeats the purpose of being filtered, and causes more white dust to be released in the air. The trade-off is much cheaper price for worse quality air, and a lot more dusting/cleaning.

just bought 2 more packs of these filters. They fit my aircare 1043 BUT they are 1 inch short on the long side. This shortage would defeat getting air flow across the filter if not addressed. I filled the gap with a small piece of bubble wrap. So far my filters last about 5 months (a season.) I found that about 3 months then rotate them upside down and get 2 more months out of it. It is easy to know when to rotate because The efficiency drops, less water is used, and the exposed portion of the filter is hard and dry. Worth it to me. I run 2 humidifiers each winter.
