Old one snapped and I needed a replacement quickly. It also stops the collar slipping. Does the job and same as the other, works out cheaper here than on the official e-collar website. Comes will all the bits needed to attach it.

Absolute must have for long hair dogs. I have it on my husky. It's easy on the skin but keeps a good contact. Very durable. Make sure your collar fits the specs of this mine did.

Study, works excellent with a German Shepard. Be certain to install it with the flat back of the wing nuts facing down. Comfortable for the dog, and durable.

Got this for my Malinois. Big difference. It's very expensive for what it is, but...buy it once, don't lose it and go on with your training. This is worth having.

Tried an ecollar on our Shiba Inu but couldn’t get good contact with the included points. Then we tried this and now we have consistent contact. It seems like the wings could be uncomfortable after a long time so we tried the titanium flex wings CPAD 033 because those looked more comfy for her but we couldn’t get consistent contact through all the hair. Will stick to this one and just check the site regularly and avoid extended wear

My dog as long fur so these long prongs are reaching the skin of the dog. Mylo does not mind having on him. He seems quite comfortable with them on.

I have a 10 month old German Shephard pup. He is very large for his age and has thick dense fur. I sent my boy to a 2 week obedience school and they use an E-collar as a learning aid. I have to admit he came back very well trained with a training plan to continue his obedience training. The trainer fitted his collar with 3/4 " contacts and said that we might need to look into longer contacts due to his thick fur. We thought about 1" contacts, but we would have to put his collar on very tight to make sure they worked. This seemed just to uncomfortable for our pouch so we chose to go with this instead. What a difference. I don't need to have his collar on as tight, and it's not uncomfortable for him at all. If you have a long furred pup please consider this set, it's much more comfortable. and much easier to get on.

Just buy it! Fixed all issues with my 130lb puppy. Mine has not broken as some of the other reviews have said. I suppose it would if you leave the collar loose and your dog could get a foot inbetween it and the skin. I really dont know why anyone would put a shock collar on loosely anyway. It fit my petspy collar with a little modification. Very simple as you just drill out 1 hole a tiny bit bigger when installing over the old peg holes on the collar. Neither manufacturer would recommend this but a true game changer! The shock stimuli works EVERY time now! I may buy a second just in case. Quality product, and USA made.

used with ET-800 e-collar. works good. It does partially cover the On/Off button on the collar but I can still use it with my finger nail. Once rotated back and forth and properly tightened it has provide reliable contact. I test with a couple level 6/100 recalls and I can tell right away if contact is good. This is on a wire-haired pointing Griffon.

Images are misleading as to what you will receive. Had to return as I own a husky and what I received was not what I expected and would not work for him.
