It's easy to put together but one end has three inches that is not cut making the dowel size actually smaller so beware what size you buy. It also doesn't keep the piece tight so I have to stop and redo the whole thing.Would not recommend spend more money and buy a better quality frame.

I haven't done needle point for many years so I needed a new frame for a current project. This worked for a while, but the screws all stripped within 3 months and had to be replaced. I had to add tape to the ends of the rods to get a tight fit. Very few options out there, but there has to be something better than this. Flimsy and isn't lasting.

can't tighten the screws up parts are not straight, not finished & smoothed like it says. Well you get what u pay for.

What is so hard about using quality screws? The screws turn in the soft wood so it’s impossible to tighten it well. One of the screw tops was defective (can’t believe I spent 15 bucks on this) so I had to resort to a bolt and vise grips. Still didn’t work because the wood doesn’t hold the screws tightly and prevent them from turning. This probably cost two bucks to put together in a package. Don’t bother.

I gave it only 3 stars because the wood was so rough and had splinters. Would give it 5 stars if wood was polished.
