Not hard or rocket science. Wire up as directed and set minutes/sensitivity. So many choices and people that could screw in a light bulb giving unnecessary doubts. This is a good choice!

After 6 years on my house, on the South side in full sunlight each day, I had the two original sensors start to go bad. I ordered this two pack, hoping they would be easy to install, and would be an easy match for the ones coming off. I will say they are easy to install, although the installation instructions are pretty weak. They did not allow for the wires being different colors that what I was replacing. These new ones have black, white and yellow wires. My original ones were black, white and red. I figured it out (red to yellow), and they seem to be working fine.

The sensor itself functions properly, but I was disappointed to find that it's not mounted on a ball swivel. This limitation makes it difficult to position the sensor for optimal placement, as it can't be easily adjusted from side to side and up and down. A ball swivel would have greatly improved the sensor's versatility and usability.

I bought these to replace the sensors on two older outdoor light fixtures that had started working erratically. The new ones installed easily and work perfectly. Very satisfied.
