Over the past 20 years, I've installed several wireless driveway alarms. Some of them worked, and some of them were useless. The major failures were a short battery life, short detection distance, or frequent false alarms. Three months ago I installed this HTZSAFE alarm and am very pleased with the operations...so far.The unit was easy to set up and worked well with our new house that has metal siding. We are only 100' from the transmitter so range was not an issue. We also like the option of selecting the alarm tone, my wife chose the barking dog. Two thumbs up.

I purchased 2 alarms, 1 for myself & 1 as a gift. Ours is great; works perfectly. It’s an excellent & effective alarm system and works in all kinds of weather in our countryside setting. The battery lasts a long time. You can choose which alarm sound to have on the inside connector. Was very impressed.However, the 1 that I bought for a gift stopped working (it was finicky from day 1 which makes me think it’s probably defective). Unfortunately it gave up working at all past the return window. I’m contacted the seller to see if there was a solution. Once I verified the serial number, a replacement was speedily dispatched & the new alarm is working!The customer service was superlative. The faulty alarm was replaced & now both are functioning properly. I highly recommend these alarm systems & the seller.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LOVE HAVING EXTRA SECURITY AT HOME.. WE HAVE THIS CUTIE BY OUR DRIVEWAY SO WE KNOW WHEN SOMEONE IS COMING UP OUR DRIVE.. HAVE HAD FOR A WHILE AND IT WORKS WONDERFULLY. ALSO IF SOMEONE IS WALKING AND YOU HAVE IT HEAD OR BELOW HIGH IT WILL ALARM YOU. I bought these based on reviews, and received the package today. I am currently charging up the AA Power Owl batteries to be installed in them. These batteries are exceptionally good for long life and recharging,and I have a good supply of them for ease and speed of replacement. After planning out my use for the sensor units, I believe I may have use for one more in the near future for a complete coverage of my house. After installing them, I will give an update.Here's my update: just two days later, the weather warmed enough for me to get outside and mount my two sensor units. One on the front porch covering it and the approach from my driveway. The other covers my car parked at the garage, which also has an outo on flood light with an outo on dog inside when he hears something outside. Ivgot the two sensors tuned for "front porch" and "driveway" alerts. From what I've seen of certain other poor ratings of these units and confusion in setting them up, let me clear something up. Reading all the instructions while looking the units over will clear up any questions. Inside the battery nacelles is the sensitivity switch, they come from the set to high. Once set up, if you find you're getting too many false alerts on a sensor, change the setting on that one one to low, or simply re-aim it. A little bit of experimentation here is needed. This is a simple but well designed system which blends well into the background, unnoticed by any but the most discerning. Put together with other measures, you can build yourself a rather decent security sysrmtem for cheap. I intend to add another one or two sensors to my system to make it my own personal perimeter guardian. Oh, one additional thing, if you want to mount these on aluminum siding, just use the long screws provided, not the plaster wall anchors. The screws work very well. I mounted one inside the back of my mailbox as a delivery alert. Works like a charm. Now I don't have to listen for the mail car, or wonder if I "got mail". Only when that door is opened, ding dong! You got mail! Love it.

These little security owls are my new best friends! I've only had them for a few weeks but...they are working consistently and holding up in rain, snow and heavy frost. The sensors are advertised to have a max effective range of 50 feet, it's more like 70 feet. So easy to set up, plenty of available alarm sounds to choose from. The in house alarm sounding unit has an adjustable volume level and it's real good. Have had nasty freezing rain and snow hitting these sensors, the design of the housing protects the seeing eye really well from the elements and drains away water from the sensor, well thought out design! The mounts are real easy to screw in to trees or siding. Swivels are real good too. I like that they are battery and not solar powered. This enables placement to be in shaded locations. Also, good that the sensors use three double A batteries. Plenty of battery power. The build is with heavy duty plastic, made well. The value for the money is surprisingly good. A few learnings to share; big wind triggers sensors by moving large tree limbs, small trees, brush, etc. squirrels sat on a couple sensors and bent them down, need to check and readjust as needed. Heavy snow bends spruce limbs down in front of sensor, check and clean snow off or trim branches as necessary.

This item was easy to set up and funstions relatively well...we have 2 sensors one activates only when something crosses its path, the other one activates often when nothing appears to be around it but we suspect it is simply a matter of changing the location to one where there is less traffic....the range of these is good and the sound level can be adjusted, the battery life is great one sensor has been up since summer and the batteries are still functioning....for the price we are very pleased with the functionality and range of this item...in fact we are planning on purchasing one more sensor .

We live in the country with no street lights. I love knowing when someone enters our driveway and front lawn. I can easily hear the alert - it functions really well and is so affordable. Not too mention how far it extends - I was amazed at the range. We have had them installed for several weeks and haven't ran into any issues and batteries are lasting a long time. Planning on buying more receivers since you can link more to the system. They make me feel secure. Oh, and you can pick options on alerts - examples: one alerts the word driveway, another front door, and another backyard - this allows me to look at what triggered the alarm. And it's a great way knowing when my Amazon packages have landed so I can meet them at the door!

muy fácil y rápido de poner en funcionamiento. Sin embargo el rango de 900 mts. esta u poco justo el receptor lo coloque a 900 mts con aproximadamente 1 o 2 construcciones intermedias y unos cuantos arboles y no llega la señal, pero dentro de un rango mas corto sin problema funciona perfectamente.Sugerencia dar la opción de baterías de respaldo al receptor para caso de fallas en la red electrica!!

Es fácil de instalar y el sonido es fuerte, lo recordable es que si se quiere tener mayor amplitud de sonido se compre 1 extra o más para mayor recepción

Overall, works well. Easy to set up and doesn't kill batteries very quickly. Sensor should be sealed with waterproof tape around the circumference or set in an enclosure, due to the gasket possibly letting water into the unit and causing malfunction. Support is very good and promptly deal with issues. There is a hidden screw in the hole for hanging it.
