I'm not a fan of Edgestar, had problems in the past with their products, but options were limited so I went with this built-in for my indoor bar. Purchased and installed over 2 months ago and it is working flawlessly. I'm actually pretty happy with this unit. I don't even hear it running. Set at 32 degrees, it holds temperature perfectly. the interior is SS lined, easy to clean/wipe out when there are beer spills.

I bought this system last fall. I LOVE IT. I did upgrade to Perlic valves, but the stock set would have worked well. Very versatile in that it can be used on wheels as a stand alone system or as a cabinet build in. Lots of room. Thinking about trying my hand at brewing.

There were no instructions for mounting the tower over a countertop and the company could not provide me with any. It came with 3.5 inch screws in a bag with nuts and washers. Inside the unit, around the hole for the tower is a plastic ring with 4 holes. So with the lack of instructions and with all indications that you're meant to put the screws all the way through and secure with nuts and washers, I attempted to do so. It turns out that I wasn't supposed to do that. After threading all 4 screws loosely, I looked inside to find a mangled mess of plastic caused by the screws. I guess the thread is fine enough and the plastic soft enough that I didn't feel any resistance. Even worse, when backing the screws out, insulation must have gotten in the threads and siezed. To get the screws out I had to use a bit of force because it wouldn't budge either direction. Then the female threaded piece broke off in between the inner and outer shell of the refrigerator and the screw and washer is just spinning freely with no chance of me ever getting it out.Customer service was nice but wouldn't help me whatsoever. They couldn't even send me replacement screws claiming that the version of my Kegerator is no longer being sold. The model is br7001ss.So beware of the installation. If you get the same 3.5 inch screws, you'll have to cut them to length I guess and throw away the nuts and washers. Don't do what I did. Or buy one from a better company.

I purchased this unit as a built in unit so I did not use the wheels or rails on the top. The finish is nice I just wish it had a handle, but no big deal. I am still in the process of installing a tower so I'm not sure how well the tower cooling works. My girlfriend did comment on the noise when running, I barely notice it. I will try to update my review after a couple months. The shipping was great, packaging and delivery.
