I bought 4 units in total. They worked well for the first 3 months, but during my travel, I relied on them to water my garden plants. Unfortunately, they malfunctioned and failed to supply water properly, causing me to lose my plants. Three of the units have the same issue.The warranty should cover this !!

Arrived fast. Easy to set up and use. The fact that you have 4 zones and each zone can be setup up to 5 cycles is just amazing! It's been over 1 yr and the water timer has been under direct sunlight and the elements... it's just as new. Great product! Very well designed for the long haul.I had to contact customer service for an issue. I emailed them and got a reply the same day. Amicable service and very proactive. They know how to treat customers.Recommend this product and brand! Will buy more products from Eden.

This timer works as intended. Best is to fix it yourself and get the connectors needed without relying on the Gardners or non pros and you won't have any issue. Threads on the tap were not many, hence I bought a connector in-between and it worked properly.

I am very disappointed of this product! I bought 2 back in March and they were working great for the first 3 months. I have new grass sods an plants at my backbyard. I set the timer to water 15 to 20 mins twice a day on all zones. I was so confident because it was all working fine. Summer came and I noticed that my back yard plants and grass were getting dry and turning brown. When I check on timers, the setting was still up and running but the water is not coming out of some the outlets. I figured that it was valve issues! I contacted customer service via email since the product has 3 year warranty base on their website. Edward instructed me to do valve reset on the the problematic zones. He also instructed to put the water pressure between 20 to 80 psi. My water pressure was only 50 to 70 psi the whole time. After doing what has been instructed, problem still persists! Now it's actually worse and doing it on random valves. It is just so annoying and frustrating! I have to watch and monitor it if it's going to turn on or not, and I ended up watering my yard manually! I go to work 12 hours shift 3 to 4 days a week. I cannot water my yard and monitor the timers at the same time! It totally defeats the purpose of having a timer! Waste of time, money, plants and grass!

This is great timer except for one major shortcoming, it is not Wi-Fi enabled. I purchased this timer to water my garden, front yard, backyard, and cluster of plants. HMI is well designed and clear. Two side connectors are position at the angle for easy hoses connection. I connected everything, setup the program and watch sprinklers turning on and off like magic, I can go on vacation in two weeks without worry about my plants and grass. Not exactly It rains almost none stop for the last three days in a row and I'm watching my sprinklers coming on and off as programed, time to close the valve for few days, but wait, I can't do that from Rivera Maya Mexico, so now I'm buying another valve with Wi-Fi connectivity and placing it before my timer so I can cut the supply of water to my great four zone timer and finally I have total control of my system from anywhere in the world. PS: don't bother purchasing recommended moisture sensors, I can't establish solid connection, if I move sensor behind my garage which is only 30 feet away from the valve.

At the onset for those into these kinds of systems a few tries should get u all going. Remember other than the usual connectors and the fact that the 4 outlets on this product are plastic a bit of care during fixing the hose etc is needed. Don’t over tighten. But the most helpful info I guess would be1) as u are facing the product the zones start from left to right ( i .e the leftmost outlet is zone 1.2) use Teflon Tape on the outlet threads so u get a Gud seal that doesn’t leak and also don’t damage the threads( unfortunately they’re plastic)3) manual watering mode is required to be tuned in every time u decide to do any watering without the set schedule Other than this the build quality and other functions seems to be fineHave covered the whole setup with a plastic bag to try and protect it from the elements** currently using in the Middle East where temperatures are 47C in the summer**Will update this review in few months if the system holds up !!! June 13th reviewThis is Aug 21st 2023 review updateThe product has performed consistently through one of the harshest summers 48CThere has been no issues inspire of me having to change/ add water timings and schedules.After having read the updates i should add that I use this timer for drip irrigation system with 2 fixed lines and one hose for intermittent usage. For the hose ive set 6hours program timing intervals so it’s always on. No issues at allAlso I’ve read a few reviews about battery drain. I do have to mention I followed the advice on the manual and got a couple of alkaline batteries.(TOSHIBA). And intense heat later have to say batteries have hardly drainedJust for an idea program setting is two irrigation lines 3 times a day each at different times 7 days a week for pay two months.Only one minus seems to be the high pitched ‘whine’ noise it makes when watering programs are runningUpdating this review on oct31 2023Increasing rating one star from 3 to 4This is really an enduring water timer. It has been out in the open in extreme heat of 46C + while ensuring dust storms. There has been no defeatism of LCD display which is clear to viewTwo cons which I feel could easily be resolved by the company in next models1) wifi connectivity directly in device so that it can be programmable by mobile app( currently only moisture sensor is offered connected by wifi)2) LCD back lights for viewing the setting in the nightOther wise a very good irrigation timer. Would surely recommend

Invariably when I’ve seen reviews on timers like this they are very mixed. Many people think they don’t work or something is wrong with them.I can tell from reviews that lots of people don’t read the instructions carefully.No doubt these kind of “multi zone”, highly flexible programmed timers aren’t the most intuitive.This one requires that you “first” select days to water (like mon,tues,wed) but later when setting zones has you chose “every 1 day, every 2 days, etc).If you chose every one day, but don’t set the days to water on all the days of the week you’re going to run into trouble.With all techy things, where flexibility comes in (multiple zones, multiple time options during a day, multiple day options, etc) things can be confusing.You simply MUST read the instructions. I always recommend reading through the setting instructions FIRST before you try to do it. Reading while actually doing it, can lead to mistakes.I’ve been using these for some years. Sure they only last maybe 2-3 yrs tops, but in Florida that’s all you can hope for. They’re outside and the elements take their toll.Personally though I’m happy with them and I’d buy again in the future as I’ve purchased replacements in the past.

The Eden company was swift in reaching out to me after my negative review of the digital water timer. The very same day they sent me a form to fill out with the info about the problem and then a real person got back to me the same day with a suggested fix. It worked and can go back to being a happy gardener.I purchased this for the 2022 gardening season and it worked like a charm. Didn't use it Oct-April 2023 and in setting it up for this year's garden, zone 4 is not working. Not very good value for the $75 it cost last year.

I love this timer! I only have one spigot but with this 4 zone I am able to water my entire yard front back and side. Each zone is a hose connected to the timer so I ran 4 hoses from one spigot and watered each zone at a different time to be sure I had enough water pressure to handle each zone. Works great!! I was able to get through hot summer, water zones at multiple times a day, have a great lawn and not lug hoses around or worry if I was home or not. Great product, super flexible program choices, easy to program, worry free. Really happy with this timer!!!
