Your cart is empty.The Edelbrock Polished Victor Series Water Pump provides maximum cooling for the street and the racetrack. They are ideal in preventing overheating in street rods and street machines, as well as in tow rigs and motor homes. It comes with heavy-duty 3/4 inch ball/roller bearing. The dimension from block surface to hub is 6-15/16 and its inlet diameter is 1. 80. This water pump will clear composite timing covers on late model GM performance crate engines. The aluminum pumps have CNC-machined housings with special one-way internal passages that flow more coolant at higher velocities, even at low engine speeds. The CNC-machined, cast iron impellers are larger than other impellers. They have curved vanes that produce greater flow with less cavitation.

I bought this pump because I needed the long style with a cam stop, nice looking pump made in the USA, but the rear cover gasket leaks so now I get to take it apart all over again! Come on Edelbrock!!!

What an upgrade! I have a 1987 sbc block stroked to 383 and could never figure out why I had squeaking belts and issues with the aftermarket serpentine system. Well! Edelbrock to the rescue. This has additional mounting holes for sbc accessories. No more squealing pumps or loose belts.Not only that, but with my Ron Davis radiator and electric Spal fan, I can already tell this WP moves much more coolant.

You would think in buying a almost 300 dollar pump made in USA and all you would think it would be good. Nope the pump leaked from the back plate. I have to remove this unit remove back plate with 6 screws and install a new gasket I happen to have. I coated both sides with Rev to help the paper gasket to seal and not swell through the porous gasket. The original was different than paper and seeped through. Think for an extra 15 buxs they could use a better engineered gasket. Mill the back and use a o- ring gasket and never have leaks. Another loss of 3 hours to install pump drain and refill. Thanks for nothing edelbrock.

I bought Edelbrock thinking it was a superior product and installed it on my car and it leaked so much past the rear rotor plate I ended up with a mess. Now i have to take it off get another one quality is no longer.
