I bought this hoping it would work with my 81 Corvette with new Edelbrock 1906 carb and Performer intake. It sits back by the two rear intake bolts which is too far away from the carb for the throttle and transmission passing gear cables. I had to return it and buy a $10 one, which worked with some minor adjustments. The packaging clearly states this product is for '78 and older trucks... But nowhere does the online product description, either on Amazon or on the Edelbrock website state that. One would think Edelbrock would make a bracket that will work with their carb and intake...

Used on a 383 small block. Not sure if the product was misrepresented or if my engine cast was off. But... I had to cut out a section to fit my block. After install, looks good. My truck wont be a show car, so it will get the job done.
